Why on earth would you keep saving your premium time? In 2012 or 2013, I understand that some Founders saved their premium time because they imagined the real game would start later. But now? In 2015? Why keep saving it? To prove a point?

Because I never bothered to activate it, and I don't feel the game is in a state where I would play it consistently enough to warrant activating it?

Oh, good lord. I have to start measuring my banked premium time in terms of years.

I can't believe people are not activating it, waiting for the game to get better
One of the reasons I will probably not bother with any more Resistance packs (nothing clan left I want) is because of the Premium time if I keep buying them, I will never use it up fast enough.

Was there something early on for founders that gave out a huge amount?
Or are you spending money on packs but then not using the premium time?
I don't get it.
Packs
I used up my founders Premium time (was about 6 months if I remember correctly) between it and Pheonix package was the only time I have had a period with out it.
If you buy top package within the early bonus you will get so much premium time you will never run out.
Its why in the long term Packs are bad news for the game, as there will come a time when people will not want them due to the mech mix, and where people that bought past ones, and want to support the game will simply have to much banked time to bother with spending money for 6-9 months.
Pack seem a great deal, but they are bad for the game long term, so those that are buying packs activate now, and use some of it, or you might have wasted all that cash.

I'm waiting until they improve the non-premium CBill and XP income issues experienced primarily by light and medium mechs

I'd take a hit of up to 50% on converting those to a premium time that counts only down when I'm logged into the game
sigh

I have known for some time I will be moving. Initially it was a wait for the game to be in a better state, when CW was released. I did activate two thirty day blocks. But I am saving it until I move in a couple of months, when I'll have more time to play.
By then I should have a bit over two years to burn through.

Just activated a 30 day chunk (24 left), only because the wife was away for 10 days. Just never seemed worth it before, to activate a month at a time.
So yeah Russ, I had 8 months.

Most of it from the packs I have bought and preordered and never used the premium time.
Still have my founders chunk too.

Since you have been a member for three years, I'd say you picked up a freebie or two. I think there were a couple, but memory is fuzzy.
