But we got less capacity for clams and more for IS better cooling for Clams and IS as well.....
Tweaks to the ok stuff....but still nothing broken fix. Classic Pee Gee Eye, just Classic.

It's only been 9 months with minimal acknowledgement...
Anyone think 2016 could be the year this gets fixed...or at least a quirk bandaid applied?

1) All sub-250 engines should have 10 internal heatsinks (just increase the weight of 225-245 engines by +1 ton and 200-220 engines by +2 tons to account for the weight of the extra heatsinks). This primarily helps the commando which is inarguably the worst mech in the game.
2) All DHS should be 1.7. its totally dumb and illogical having internal and external DHS be different values.
Is bad precedent though. Its not what quirks are supposed to be used for.
One of the biggest problems with weapon balance now is that PGI has used quirks for core weapon balance rather than actually balancing the weapons. So only mechs with specific quirks are balanced in the meta while mechs without those quirks suck.
Quirks are for differentiating similar mechs not fixing core balance issues.

Quirks are the easiest bandaid. Each variant file, or CT quirk in the case of Clams.

1) That would break all kinds of stock builds. Engine HS don't need all the extra support hardware. If it's totally dumb and illogical for HS in different locations to have different capacities, why wouldn't it be totally dumb and illogical for HS in the same location to have different weights? "These engine HS weigh next to nothing, but *these* engine HS weigh more, because magic"
What's so hard about "all engines come with 10 built-in heatsinks" and done? I never understood why they chose to gimp the **** out of smaller engines.
2) Can we at least stop calling them "double" heatsinks while numbers are pulled from nether regions as to their capacity and efficiency?
