or thinking about it more, still play MWO for the fun, and the same way as above, but also maybe do a bit MWLL, as Clans are present there

Knights of the Inner Sphere, for House Marik (or just FWL, since the Knights aren't around for another 7-8 years).

That said, if they tell us the Clans are NPC-only, I will stop spending money on the game until that is fixed.

To clarify, had the timeline started earlier, I would have been fine with the lack of Clan activity in the IS; that would make perfect sense. But to reach the point in the timeline when the Clans arrive, then only allow them to be manifested as NPC boogeymen that drop epic loot, is practically criminal.

That said...I honestly don't believe the devs would do that.

if the clans are not introduced, or are un-playable, I assure you, there WILL still be "Clans" but just in the form of MWO's gameplay interface, as a "merc" unit, that follows all Clan lore, and Traditions etc
