Framerates Have Gotten Inexplicably Worse

I have always been able to play this game on low settings with a steady 50 fps. Now, I only get 10 frames, sometimes the spikes are even worse... possibly memory leaks are the culprit?
Can you guys please roll it back to how it was before? I can't even play the game anymore at this rate. This has me pretty upset as I have invested quite a bit of money into this game when it was running perfectly fine before...
Specs:
ASUS K450LD Series Laptop
NVidia GeForce 820m
Intel Core i7
8GB RAM
Win 8.1

Performance has been getting worse with every patch again. That one miracle performance patch maybe a couple months ago gave me a solid 60fps most of the time but now it's back to that old craptastic performance that makes me want to give up and uninstall.
windows 7 home premium 64-bit
geforce driver 347.88
i5-3570 3.4ghz
16gb ram
geforce gtx 670 2gb
64-bit client
1920x1080
full window
dx11 (9 didn't help)
vsync on
damage glow on
motion blur off
effects - low
object detail - low
particles - low
post processing - low
shading - medium
shadows - medium
texturing - high
environment - high
anti-aliasing - off
voip disabled
mostly low settings and seeing dips to 20fps for no apparent reason again
edit: had wrong geforce driver listed

Since the last patch, I'm generally seeing around 75, with frequent drops to 3 or 4 fps, sometimes 2 or 3 seconds of no frame updates at all. It's inconsistent, and occasionally I get a game with no drops, but overall, the game is now unplayable for me. I'll be running around without issue, turn a corner to see a single enemy mech, BAM 3 fps, I'm dead...
I've updated my GFX drivers, turned down the setting in game, no joy. since I generally get around 75fps, I'm sure it's not a hardware issue.
Please fix this, I can't play anymore like this.

I can confirm the specific performance issues with the sulphur CW map that people have been complaining about, but my minimum, maximum, and average frame rates have all gotten a boost in regular matches. I haven't tracked performance in CW very much at all or posted any numbers due to not playing the mode very much. I would start looking at various factors on your individual systems and posting a lot more information here that can be used for troubleshooting. If you don't, there isn't much that anybody can do for you.

ASUS Sabertooth X79
32 GB 1866 RAM
SSDs
EVGA OC edition 980 GTX
Win7 Ultimate
Settings: 1080p, particles high, all others medium. V-sync on, AA off, DX9 mode. I run the 64bit client.
The FPS drops are random in both occurrence and severity but seem more common and more severe post patch. I had a strange series of FPS drops into the 10-15 range on alpine the other night, a first for that map. Considering the performance I see in more demanding games on max settings that are "offline" it HAS to be netcode issues.

No. It's likely just terrible rendering optimization as usual. HUD and mech rendering have always been a massive fps hit.

Although, I have noticed increased FPS dips from mech produced steam. Not smoke, not environmental "clouds", just steam produced when at or near overheat levels. Because this happens often during a close range fight it is extremely noticeable.
Otherwise, game seems fine to me.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
I would list my in-game video settings, but they appear to have no effect on this problem. Low or Max, the spikes still happen. The only thing that changes is my framerate in between the spikes.

Every subsequent patch since January has seemed to push the bar lower and lower and it's almost getting to the point where I'm considering quitting MWO until it's fixed or I can afford to get a proper computer, which might not be for well over a year. Really disappointing, because I'm loving the new content that's starting to come in at a steady stream.
I think GMan is also suffering from degrading performance with every patch - I remember he mentioned it in his most recent video and it sucks because he's a member of a solid comp team and is a stellar community content contributer (Metamechs.com).
