Fix the map clipping! It is incredibly frustrating to see a target and shoot a perfect shot, only to have the round or laser hit an invisible wall instead. This may happen in a lot of places, but it is most prominent in:

Forest Colony tunnel
Tourmaline on the crystal formations
HPG manifold when shooting over the top area

This issue is making me think to stop playing mwo, its ridiculous!
At some spots there are clipping issues that produce near to 1 meter of invisible wall standing over the visable edge of a map object.
Unless this is a desired effect/circumstance to allow players to see more while exposing less of their mech, considering the fact how big the distances between cockpit and most outter mech parts are on some mechs, i have to say it seems like a certificate of poverty in map design and production.
It is super frustrating wasting heat on shooting invisible walls or even worse, the limited ammunation for projectile weapons...

edit: Consider weapon convergence and hardpoint positions relative to cockpit positions while judging clipping errors, sometimes its just a tactical bad position and a real object in the LOF, rather than a clipping issue.
But thats not the case while driving the Jager and shooting a mech which is visable on HPG manifold top center just to hit the edge of the floor, as the hardpoints of the jager are above its cockpit.

I enjoy the invisible walls that when you see your target spot at 400m and drop an arty then Holy Mackeral it drops on your head or right behind you..doh. There are many places where I should be able to shoot between branches or guardrails etc and nothing. They stated in Dev Blog 10 that they are finally truly learning the map tools and know they need to go back and clean up a bunch of mess. I patiently wait and am thankful that the resistance pack will soon be released.

I'm getting fed-up with the clipping. What I mean by this has two parts.

1 - shooting.

To many times I line up a good shot and have it end up hitting invisible boundaries. Every map has this. I get the impression that when you seen the terrain in game an invisible boundary surrounds it, which annoys me to no end.

Most of the time you can't shoot pas corners. For example your mech is behind a building but your left arms is just sticking out of cover. So it should be possible to shoot. But when you do, BAM shot goes into building even though my arm is past the building.

See the images included in this post, first picture I can't shoot pas red line. Second picture can't shoot past red line on the left side. Also notice the burn marks on the ground.

The second part, which I put under same problem as the clipping part, is the collision with other mechs. You are in battle with an other mech, it runs into you...you stutter and PLOP the enemy 'transport' behind you.

I still like playing this game, but these things so frustrate me. It feels like bad programming, or maybe it's just the engine. Unfortunately I'm not qualified to say it for sure (Just posting my 'findings' in this post). But I know one thing, clipping was a major issue in Star Citizen, and if I've heard and read it correctly they fixed it by getting in touch with the CryEngine people.

So very nice that PGI is publishing new CW maps (which I don't play because of waiting times and I can't play with 12 people) but please PGI fix these annoying feature of the current game..
