Well, here's what I took to get me Pots o' Gold.

Lights: 18 in the TDK, one each in Huginn and Ember
Medium: 11 in CN9-AH, nine in the SHD-2HP
Heavy: 14 in the TDR-5SP, three each in the Flame and Ilya
Assault: 19 in the AWS-PB, one in the BLR-1GP
CW: 28 matches on the Clan side earning an extra 1,650,000

Light: Mist Lynx, Panther, Adder, Locust

Medium: Centurion, Enforcer, Nova, Storm Crow, Shadow Hawk

Heavy: Timber Wolf, Mad Dog, Hellbringer

Assault: Dire Wolf, Gargoyle, King Crab, Misery, Atlas.

I get bored as hell playing the same mech, nonstop, over and over and over...

This thread is why I say "10v12"

Stop with the mix tech in the pub queue. Make it all clan or IS fighting clan or IS. Clans get 10 to a team, IS get 12. Same for CW.

Then remove all the silly nerfs to clan weapons (longer burn times, trickle LRMs, streaming ACs with ammo quantity buff).

Then incentivize clans to bring lighter mechs to a match by giving c-bill and GXP bonuses for clan players who intentionally under ton. Let them take an assault slot, but fill it with a heavy, something like that.

Then the clans can be the true "our tech is better than yours" like the canon says and, to be frank, many clan players want. And the IS gets to be the scrappy, if numerous, and unconventional underdog.

Then, later, a few years perhaps? Allow mix tech (like the canon does after the clans "lose") on teams to show the integration of clans and clan mechs in IS units.

Clan and IS balance isnt so skewed in favor of the clans as people still want to think.

IS Quirks have made them just as good, if not better in some situations. Clans get a whole 1 or 2 more points of damage on their weapons, a little bit more heat on their weapons. A Fair bit more range on some, barring quirks. But all CLan weapons get burst mode and longer durations.

Now, IS, quirked, they get Clan range, they get increased CD, allowing them to fire their lesser damage faster, more often and with better duration. Quirks have removed alot of the IS deficiencies, given them clan benefits, outside of space and weight, so really, its not that bad Clans OP as many think.

In fact, the clans are kinda starting to suck a little. Their ballistics suck royally, burst mode, jamming up, spread damage..

LRMs spread damage, fire in waves. THeir Lasers might have a negligible amount more damage, they get more range, not that it really is that big a deal, most fights are 400-700m anyway, well within IS Ranges. The ranges where Clan range matters, the game isnt played anyway. CERPPC are a total joke, as are ERPPC in general.

I am kinda playing this game a bit more, some on IS, some on Clan. So far, my IS side is smoking my Clan side. IS side is acatually in the positive on KDR and WR. My Zeus? It can chew **** up, spit it out, and ask for thirds, then still have some to take home and eat later. So far, CLan side? Even laser vomit seems meh overall. CERPPC builds are a joke, a mixed LBX/Laser/SRM build is a joke...

So far, I much prefer my Zeus to any of the 4 Clan mechs ive got....

If you think Clans are somehow disadvantaged in this game you have entered a Fugue State.

This is a serious Psychiatric condition that requires professional intervention.

Contact a mental health provider immediately.

Let me be VERY clear.

I don't want the clan mechs nerfed. I do not care if they are more powerful in an open ground, straight fight.

I am not opposed to them being rebuffed.

I think making them ton for ton equal to IS is an uninteresting solution.

I am saying clan mechs need a limiter ( once a clan mech fires upon a target everyone else has their weapons lock out when targeting said target until one of them is dead)

OR

The IS gets an advantage which allows them to level the play field (consumable options that instead of expending, simply enter a cooldown phase) or some kind of equalizer factors that allow them to set up enemies for a brutal takedown.

I cannot stress enough: I enjoy asymmetric warfare games. I dont give a crap if one side is individually powerful so long as both sides can force an even fight, or turn the tables.

Allow players to change the circumstances of the battle Rather than nerfing the mechs to homogeneity.
