ok, best CW game yet. a nail biter...

note the time, went down to the MINUTE- I was second to our last man, got blasted- I clicked to check next player and I'm looking at a burning hulk...huh? can't see other players, check tab..oh no...its our last and 2-3 minutes to go...wth

our last guy, was AFK -check his ping/score...he had two drops left, we all watched as they blasted his 2nd, and his 3rd, and as the drop ship came in, it started blasting the spawn campers, they couldn't kill the guy before the clock went 5...4..3...2..1... zero
we won- their last objective was over, they just had to kill our last guy mwahahahahaha.
Equally maddening for the other team to come from behind and finish our team off so neatly in the final minutes of the game.

Close matches are fun!

I had just lost my second panther with less than a minute left, and stormcrows were chasing 3 of our injured mechs (the gun was already down) when time ran out. I wager another 30 seconds would have seen 3 more of ours dead and the match lost.

The passed weekend:

We (defenders) lost all our mechs and had Omega at 75%.
The enemy had only one raven and under 2 minutes left.
I wrote "he probably hasn't enough firepower to kill omega in time".

Then he runs into a turret, gets killed and we all laughed and chatted for the remaining time.

Closest match so far? Just for shits and giggles I decided to pug a couple CW games last night (since I've been hearing that organized groups always win etc etc).

We were defending on Grim Portico, and we ended up winning with 47/47, but Omega was still up.

Seemed pretty close to me.

I had 2 ultra close matches this weekend

1) Defending, we fought to the last minute, they killed our last guy 12 seconds before end, the enemy was down to one single guy, Omega was damaged but he wasnt able to destroy omega in the time left, we won

2) We were attacking, and killed their last guy 50 seconds in, 2 of us left, a legged Dragon and a Firestarter with one arm. 2 Generator still in tact, the FS managed to destroy the gens in 33 seconds (!) while the dragon waited at Omega to open, as soon as it did, he hit it hard, but didnt managed to destroy it. We lost

Got screenshots of both, all were mostly pugs with only one group of 4-7 on both sides.

Pure PugVSPug matches are very fun and always extremly close.
