As cool as paint jobs are in MWO, I rarely (if ever) buy them. Usually I buy things that equate more CBill income with real-world-money. Current CBill income levels have fueled quiet a few sour-grape-posts on the forums (many from newer players). Obviously PGI needs to make money and in its current form, the goal is to push us towards monthly sub. Often that 50% bonus is spent on consumables, but I digress.

I propose our Camo Patterns carry a bonus to Xp-CB-both. This would depend on the price of the pattern you buy. IE- A premium Pattern would come with a more substantial bonus of say 15%-20%, while the lower priced ones a lesser bonus of 5%-10%.

Possibly, the "paint" colors themselves could include a bonus, again this could scale according to price. Perhaps they could range from 1%-3%, again depending on the MC cost.

Now, I know you're saying "So what value will hero mechs be? Huh?!" Hero mechs still carry unique paint jobs, sound fx, hard-point-loadouts. If they could benefit from the lesser paint-color bonus, of 3%-9% it would hardly have a huge impact.

This would benefit our eyes in game, and PGI's funding, overall improving the MWO experience for all.

So what do you think Mechwarriors?

edit--spelling.
