I LITERALLY laughed out loud when i noticed the speedometer in the lower left corner.

I was a bit sad the Urbie can mount a large enough engine now to beat even some Clan lights, therefore - potentially - not being the slowest Light mech ever made.

But with this... I think we are quit now.

PGI, you just made my day. ;)

P.S.: Awesome video, too. How long did it take you to make it (I mean the shootout) ?

it goes the same speed as a kit fox so how does that means it beats them?

1) I honestly like the minimalist approach to the urbie cockpit [if this is actually the real urbie cockpit and not a mock up for an april fools video]

2) This video, was quite possibly the best april fools joke PGI could have done, and after 3 years of failures with their april fools stuff... it's good to see a tasteful joke.

I look forward to the chance to get my hands on my urbie! 10/10 will batchall with.

Finally theyre taking chances again and having a sense of humor in the art department. We've levied such vitriol at them over the VCR boxes and other things we hate theyve seemed gunshy for over a year.

This is good stuff. It looks like no other cockpit (sad the monitors dont work....I want my HTAL and I want to pick which screen its on :( ) and that speedometer is fantastic. Every cockpit should have stuff like that. Then your cockpit items dont look so lonely and out of place.

Its like when you look at peoples desk in an office...theres alot of swag there. More of that is cool.

But just remember some have boring desk because they don't like cool or "fun" or have no sense of humor.

As a STD engine fan i think the urbie is just fast enough. Now i have to buy one, or the 3 pack.

Okay gotta admit some of that Urbie stuff is pretty hilarious... PGI outdoing themselves for a community in-joke.

And TBH, I don't even think the special attack is OP - I mean, how often do you get completely surrounded by Atlases anyway?

I hope it's a standing item I can remove, truthfully.

Actually... I'd rather know how long it took to walk the distance of the tunnel ...

Hopefully the speedometer is a functional cockpit item we can put in any mech and is bundled with buying the Urbanmech package deal.

I wouldn't mind seeing it in my Atlas-S.

Yes, it gets a PPFLD AC10 to shred the Kitfox with, while the Kitfox gets small lasers with the beam duration of a IS Large....

If the Urban mech really goes as fast as the Kit Fox. then the Kit Fox & others that go as slow as the KF, need some speed buffs/quirks. for MWO to try to maintain some thing resembling TT rules & lore. Or was the Kit Fox really as bad as the Urban in lore ?

No. I Kit Fox in lore is a really good mech. It's the hard point inflation that makes it look not as good vs. other mechs.
