First off, I love the somewhat constant recent release of new mechs and the great attempt of making CW a reality. The CW add was what truly made me come back to this game in sight of the massive potential it has. As I find myself spending more money on a game that I ever have, it's beginning to get a little stale. What keeps a gamer glued to a game for years is truly caused by end-game content. There just isn't enough. Perhaps more time can be milked from people by PGI if there was more in depth lore and detailed immersion (such as many more maps for CW to make each planet feel unique). I create my own levels in UE4 and have to say that the levels created in MWO are fairly simple and straight forward (definitely not saying I do not like them, just stating the obvious). I really think the level designers could pull off something very beautiful in the long run if dedication resides within them.
All in all, I have lots of fun with this game, but you need to keep it interesting! If you don't plan on shooting for the stars with CW to keep me immersed, then give me a true global ranked board so I can keep my competitive spirit alive! I have no problem giving PGI money for the hard work they've done to provide me with a great game to play, but I will not keep paying super high prices for something that will, in time, get too stale to keep me on board.
All I ask is please do not waste my money! PGI has a huge opportunity to make something super successful, but only if hard work is put in! Remember the massive traffic of people who were first interested in the game prior to beta release? Yeah, millions? You people at PGI can pull all of them back in and more if true progress emerges. I don't care about PGI's past issues and what people think of PGI because of them, but I do care about what PGI does with the potential right in front of their faces. The past is the past. What matters is now.
Best regards,
Brandon

You could also Google up No Guts No Galaxy's soundcloud account and listen to the townhalls that Russ has been doing for the past several months and see what info you can mine out of them. Russ has said that they are shooting for Steam release by year's end.
Also, some of PGI's code monkeys have been caught accidentally unleashing early bot/AI mechs into live servers, which appears to be an element for upcoming new player experience (or even some kind of PvE/Co-op mode).
