Oh how nice.
May I translate that:
"Be a emotionally driven moron, try to destroy the game!"

I'm a software developer myself, although in a pretty different field, but may I ask to consider:

Building, running, maintaining a software is an high tech undertaking with an incredible high effort behind the scenes that "simple users" (yes I mean you) will never grasp.
There are YEARS of work to do in backend stuff (serverside improvement, analysis, automation, backups, hardware), QA, coordination. Not to mention the usual corporate overhead like human resources management, IT administration, redundancy, marketing, blablabla.

It is NOT the case that software developers sit 7,5 hours on their lazy ass all day, playing the game themselves and then say "ah, well, yes, okay, let's be kind and turn off the bug that everyone is whining about."
It is HARD work. Long work. Expensive work.

For MWO, all that has to come from a few bucks here and there that people spend on new mechs.
Personally, I don't see how PGI can even come close to cover its expenses by that.

And then some child storms in and says "Vote with your wallet, stop buying their crap!".
So you want to get everybody to destroy the game, is that it?
Great job.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL! We really should vote with our wallet. IDK how other developers sell full games for $20-$50 and survive, when we pay $80-$240 on 'microtransactions' PGI made millions off the founders program alone, and all we've gotten since are a few maps, a bunch of mechs, and for every new feature 2 old ones get the axe.
