Ok. I didn't notice this until CW, and even then I didn't notice because the first thing I did was upgrade everything until CW was 60fps clean. But now I am noticing it. The game has a vampire leak somewhere that causes video stutter whenever a mech within a certain range that I want to shoot at comes onto the screen. It's not just video stutter though because it also freezes all my keyboard/mouse actions. The stutter is about a 8th or quarter of a second long, everything freezes and right after the stutter everything is in it's new place. So unless I want to just sit there staring at a mech to keep it on the screen which means I can't torso twist to absorb damage I end up coming back from a twist and staring at a frozen screen, then waiting ANOTHER half second or so to re-aim. It doesn't happen at long range and it doesn't happen at first with friendly mechs. The only time it happen with friendly mechs is if I have already noticed it with enemy mechs in a CW drop and instead of dropping group and rebooting I choose to fight through it for another CW drop so that I can stay in my CW 12 man and not delay them by forcing them to wait for me to reboot. The fix is for me to reboot the game which keep it clean for about 3-4 CW matches, after that it starts to go downhill.

I've already tried everything, or at least everything I can do, so when is the fix coming?

oh. And another thing. This freezing stutter effect is recordable with FRAPS.

Hey Harle, sounds like a real pain in the a$$. So this problem you are having is exclusive or happens only in CW matches? Crazy that it freezes keyboard and mouse.

I only notice it in CW right now. Another odd effect is watching the text spam. If it happens at the right time I will see text spam like "x was killed by Y" then when the stutter hits the spam goes away and when the stutter ends the text spam comes back about a quarter of a second after the stutter ends.

Are you using a USB headset? My g430's caused something similar to what you're experiencing. Try running resource monitor or something equivalent and see what's causing high CPU spikes.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I am having the same issue. Only in CW, not in training grounds nor in Pugs.
