Hey everyone,

I love CW, I really do, but I have a real complaint with some of the players.

I'm ******* sick and tired of people who:
1: Get into CW
2: Decide to lead the group
3: Do so using chat, and have VOIP turned off and everyone muted
4: Are arrogent ******** in chat

If you are going to command fine. I'm cool with that. A good leader is needed and trying out leading, even if you're not great is good! Practice makes you a better leader!

However, if you do so, make rediculous orders, and then refuse to talk with the team using VOIP, no-one will follow your orders, and we won't be able to provide feedback for them.

Just today I got into a match with someone who wanted to lead. We got into a match in CW, went to one gate, and he gave an order go all the ******* way around to the other gate. This was a bad call in my opinion, as our slower mechs would be left behind and get killed by the organized enemy team on the other side who would surely take that oportunity.

I tried to talk to him using VOIP, couldn't since he had everyone muted and VOIP off, and then whne I attempted to ask him to turn it on, he said he doesn't have it on so he doesn't have to listen to teammates.

If you are going to command, communication is key. You cannot lead without communication. Refusing to listen to teammates, even if there are a couple annoying ones in there, is just plain wrong.

In my experience, there are maybe one, perhaps two annoying team members or hot-heads out of every 12 matches, perhaps less.

The only real reason you don't want to get on comms is so you don't have your orders questioned or hear other ideas from other teammates. It's not a ******* dictatorship, we need to work together to get a victory. Just giving orders without accepting input doesn't work.

Please everyone. I encourage attempting leadership, but for the team's sake, use VOIP, even if you are on a teamspeak. It makes things a hell of a lot easier. Same goes to non-leaders. Being able to hear the leader speak and communicate is important. (I obviously understand if you don't have a mic, though you can easily get a cheap 5$ one on the internet)

That's about all I have to say. Perhaps this needs to go into the daily whine, but it's mainly CW so I put it her.

Anyone can order people around and ask them to do things.

It takes a listener to lead, and an observer to command.

Gee, man, I don't know what to tell you other than you're complaining in the wrong place. Noone at PGI bothers with the forums. Go to Twitter and let Russ know how you feel.

Other than that, it all comes down to PGI doing everything it can to inflate numbers in CW so they can "get metrics" or whatever...they've drug as many new players in trial mechs over as they can manage. Clan trials are far worse than IS...and a new player is a new player.

One thing I can tell you is they can follow orders to a point...but don't expect them to do anything other than follow the herd or stampede toward the first red triangle they see. Teach them how to prioritize on the ECM mechs and let them do their thing. Most of these guys are Solo Queue players and treat CW the same way. As long as they've got targets, they can dish out a lot of damage. Drop the ECM and they're a pack of rabid weasels.

That's close to what I tell the wife every day....who's more foolish, the fool or the woman that married him?

Have you considered that there might be people out there, who are not native english speakers and who may be more comfortable with written English?

I'm sick of the people who drop and then don't show up for the battle.

Last night my team was counter-attacking with only 12. While we destroyed Omega, and had equal kills with the defending team, that meant we lost.

If the tard who didn't show up had played, we'd have won instead of wasting 30 minutes of our lives.

I've seen tards do this over and over. I'm going to start keeping a list and screenshots so I can report repeat offenders.

Fools can be quite useful, I can definitely see certain types marrying one because they're easy to manipulate. ;)

Hey, those guys DO NOT matter to MW:O.

I believe PGI has made their position clear about that. No EU servers, no "communications tree" in native languages...you get voice comms and that's it. Learn to speak English or find another game to play. Simple as that. If you've got a problem with it, run on over to the official MW:O developers site (Twitter) and let Russ know how you feel. They don't pay attention to the forums.
