A Call To Arms! Wolf Warriors, It's Time To Teach The Freeborns How To Fight

One of the biggest issues we have is counter a Light rush from inner Sphere mech's. Most of the Clan machines Don't have the Speed to counter this. and once the generators are gone, most teams will stay close it it, rather then force there way into the freebirth spawn zone to kill there heavy's/assaults before they can move in.
This must change. our weapons have longer range then IS weapons so we don't need to get within range of the Dropships. Use this range and pick apart the enemy mech's at range, then fall back. let them close in, and kill them quickly before they can do much Damage.
Another counter to the Light Rush. is to leg the lights. all you need to do is take one leg out, then the are pretty much out of the game for the round. Kill the Fast movers, then mop up the rest when the others have been taken down.
we do this. and the Freeborn's will Be like Lambs to the slaughter.

Then i met IS quirked LLs

I am starting to think that instead we have to get close to fully use our lighter SRMs, our lasers with longer duration and our burst fire UAC/s ...

Just watch the brawls. It can turn into a furball. At which time, go in pairs, like fighter pilots. One leads, one chases, torso twisting to mitigate damage.
Terra awaits!

I have 911m range on my ERLL. Where is your advantage?
I know! That's ridiculous! But that is how it is.

You should bring the right chassis for range battle like quirked X5, WVR, TDR or BLR with IS ErLL... maybee than your blind eyes could see. You like the Stk 4N 6LL Spam, guess it serves also better than clan chassis as long as you can stand over 500m range.

Well beam duration will say to you, you can't charge with the leg for that long of a time, I guess most people do just not have the aim to do so and only will make parts of the full damage. It is possible but as long as you do not have a near equal relative speed it is not the thing most people could achive, because of aimskill.
However what you told about omega hugging after the gens are gone is a true story, but fits both sides (IS and Clans). But well if imagination is not high enough to see, that you need to kill 12 man in the process to reach omega rather than trying to burn through a hugh armor reservoir @ omega, while the enemy kill it, than it is ok to lose.

What are you talking about? I've said that I have 911m range on my IS ERLL and you are telling me to bring right chassis for range? You would need T.Comp VI to beat that, I have it for free (not counting modules).

[poetic phrase]
Whatever.
Anyway, here's one way we can improve upon ourselves: when you drop, especially if you're alone, or in a small unit, or unaffiliated, and you see players of a majority unit in your drop (i.e., 3 CWDG, 4 CWI, 5 SWOL), get on their Teamspeak, while in that match, and work together with the people there.
Or get on Strana Mechty and group up. What's the point of joining a team-based game if you're going to fight the war by yourself?
I've done that for multiple units. Hell, I got on the Name Takers Teamspeak at one point, ended up taking command, and our team won the match with nothing but PUGs. So we can win this thing if we all work together.
Now is no time for individualism. This is not Call of Duty or Battlefield and we must stop playing this as such.

Nothing you can do to match the shorter beam times, faster fire times, don't even have range advantage any more, Cannons suck, Missiles suck, PPCs are a joke.
Maybe if you took your head out of your ass, you'd see that the problem is that there are no weapons to counter IS at the moment. Before at least Clans had skirmishing line Lasers while IS ruled cannons, missiles and brawling in general. (clan mechs have never brawled nicely) Now they don't even have that.
But no, you keep to that and ignore actual.. you know.. fact of what is happening.

My recommendations:
1. Forget about C-LRMS. You are not helping your team when it comes to pushing and soaking spread damage.
2. Try switching your ERML for SPL. Same weight, almost same dps as MPL and runs cooler. More effective against lights.
3. If it seems you are not trading shots effectively in a snipe war, pull back and do something else or wait until he isn't facing you and try again.
4. Try using SRMS without artemis, it will free more tonnage and in brawling isn't that noticeable.

It seems that the "longer range" in no longer an advandage for the clans.I personaly using only novas at the moment , and despite the fact that this lil mech is relatively fragile , it can hold its own against Stalkers due its superior fire power at close ranges . Yup , i am pulling out 58 dmg , going up to 88 after firing the sml's twice after a sec.
I a not saying that you guys need to switch to novas , no not at all , i am saying that this tinny lil mech can serve well as a "tank destroyer" , so maybe you need to find for it a place in your drop deck , maybe as first drop , in order to hold back the "assault" push that IS is currently using as a main tactic .
Just consider it .
