I would invite you to play with several groups within FWLM, and get comfortable with the people you play with first. You do NOT have to join a unit right away to enjoy the organized drops. This could be weeks away before you would like to find a unit. The point is, it is your decision. Do NOT let others try to tell you which unit to join.

I'm sure there are plenty of Marik groups willing to take you on as a recruit. The point Stingr4y was trying to make above is that in FWLM we have many groups and you should play with all of them so that YOU can decide which unit fits you best before being attached to anyone.

I believe all Marik units are recruiting, but since many share the same TeamSpeak we try to let the recruits decide where they wish to join. Otherwise it creates problems with each unit trying to grab and tag every new player that shows up. We want the players to feel comfortable and choose the place that suits THEM the best.
