Can the defending team drop ship locations for alpha and charlie lances in Sulfurous Rift be moved closer to the center and back of the base to prevent drop ship spawn killing by the attacking team.
Once the gates are breached the defenders lose a third of their team before they get a chance to fight.

next time, hit "B" take command (the button at the top left) and drag and drop your dead and about to spawn teammates out of the lance which is getting camped (left click and hold on a name, drag to switch with another name, then release mousebutton). you can shift alpha to charlie (alpha is getting camped about 90% of the time) or charlie to alpha (if the gamma gate is getting camped). As you see, there's not need to relocate the drop points.

Really ?
It is a creative way of "fixing" that particular problem, admittedly, but what if:
-Someone else has command
-You're currently fighting for your life
-You don't like playing lance-shuffle when you could be playing mechwarrior

Just sayin' ...

I don't know how feasible it is with CryEngine3 but being able to SELECT which dropship to spawn in would be simple solution imo. Each drop location having 4 slots that can be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

That of course assumes i consider dropship farming tactical supression a problem which i do not, but whatever, people seem to whine about it so might as well give em that.

That's creative, more or less. what do you think a drop commander is there for?
But if someone else has command, i hope he's able to do it. if not, i'll ask for command to do it myself.

that happens of course, if i'am dead i have to wait to drop until i can access the screen again.
But i'm usually able to sort and contribute to the game, while beeing tacticool and calling targets.

It takes some practice, right now i'm able to check and sort dropspots out in about 1 second.
A kill message pops up, and i know (remember who's in which lance at best) if i have to open it the command screen.

See it like this, 1 second of my time can make the difference between the save or the lost of one friendly 'mech. I believe the damage that 'mech can do outweight what i could have done in 1 second.

you don't have to, there are people (like me) who actually like to do it.
I had more then one game, where the enemy got owned pretty badly while waiting for dropships which never came.

Just sayin'
