just because the BEST Urbanmech is Rotary Autocannon Urbanmech.

But, dealing with what we got, what do you anticipate your "primary weapon" being on your Urbie?

I'm figuring to go somewhat different on each, so will likely have each variant built around one of these weapons: 1) LB-10X, 2) UAC-5 and 3) ERPPC (possibly LPL) (gotta have my Deputy Dawg substitute)

What builds and weapons are you considering? (yes even "metacheeze" builds)

AC 20, pure and simple. Though I might use an XL for amusement.

It may be based on quirks for me, but there will always be an AC 20 version.

if you want armor and ammo for that AC20, an XL is pretty mandatory.

Kind of what I've been thinking. Might keep the 60 sized engine too...

Maybe, I forget..I did the build before, think it worked with a 90 also, but had to run SHS.

Clearly you need one of every energy weapon, otherwise your Death Blossom special won't be as nifty.

For me the primary wepon will be LPL/ERPPC on one with backup small/mgs on the hero. lb10x +3mgs on the 4ballistic one and the last will be ac10 or 20 but considering I already have an ac20 raven ill prob go ac10, I built a 99kph ac10 sl jj spider last week it worked really well.

If PGI did step up the timeline and give us new weapons, I'd have to buy an Urbie just to see if I could cram a heavy gauss on it.

RAC5 vs UAC10.

Game over. 30 damage burst with clearable jam, vs 20 with a chance of permanent jam.

Looking in the mirror when seeing those idiots, son?

While i would normally agree with you, the most interesting urbie to me is the um-68 with an mrm 30... Splat-urbie!

I'm gonna enjoy slaughtering urbies.

Thing looks bigger than it should be though easy target and moves faster than it should so guess it's really not an urby just name sake wise.

You're a *******, the point is, a Clan version of Urbie would be the harbinger of doom for MWO.

Heh, well, I could also introduce you to my Martyr Urbie...

Used by convicts with a death sentence, it was a basic Urbie, using ones that were not deemed worth repairing or upgrading. 24 RL10s were strapped to it (12 front, 12 back), front and back along with a single coolant pod. They would wait in destroyed buildings, shut down. When WoB units passed them, they would power up, jump in the middle of the formation, alpha strike, fire their coolant pod, and try to escape. Those who survived were granted a partial pardon and assigned to a Black Widows inspired penal unit, those who died had a substantial sum of money delivered to a recipient of their choice.

Anyhow, 1-3 of them blowing their loads in the middle of a formation was pretty devastating, and usually would leave the surviving Opfor rather off balance when the rest of the unit would move in and focus fire them with ac20s, Gauss, RACs, ac10s, etc.

part of my Hsien Militia modified Urbie force that Deputy Dawg leads.

Inferior ACs, no hardpoint inflation, potentially stuck with Standard Structure and no Ferro....

Well...depends how badly PGI gimps Clam battlemechs. They didn't give the Terribad Omni's any love.
