Title says it all.

If you have any builds for it, I'd also like to see those.

I agree with the above.
I still have PPCs/ACs in mine and it's still fun, but my 9B is more fun.

Of course, if you're gonna master Victors and havent yet, it's the unique one of the bunch so it does offer a different layout and style to the others.

Edit:
Here's my build, uses the engine it comes with.

I don't have any Victors. Where does it rank as far as Victors go? Is it say, 2nd best?

Co-best with the 9S* but that's not saying all that much. The chassis is in a bad state.

I still love my DS the most out of my mechs, part nostalgy no doubt, but it's far from being a bad mech.

Not the single best mech in the game anymore by a long shot, but still tons of fun and effective in the right hands.

The link posted above is the most effective build for soloq, but I run the Gauss for old time's sake.

They just need to double the quirks it already has to make it a force to be reckoned with.

Worth it? Not really anymore. The Assault class is currently dominated by Direwolves and Stalkers. The only assaults worse off than the Victor are probably the Gargoyle and the Awesome (and at least the Awesome has some good quirks).

The Dragon Slayer is generally considered the best long range Victor, as it has a pair of torso energy hardpoints. I typically run it with 3LL and a Gauss nowadays when I feel like taking it out (which is admittedly pretty rarely).

The 9B is basically a 9S minus a missile slot... guess it has some light laser duration quirks, but don't really see that as making much of a difference.

Ha. Yeah. I meant the 9S (fixing). And that's how relevant Victors aren't.

No. The Victor 9S is the most versatile and can do anything the Dslayer can do and more. (other than mount xl400)

I will say been working on Gargoyle recently just about mastered, and reminds me of the Victor mech alot.

I have learned to greatly appreciate IS ability to swap out engines being able to swap its engine out to get more tonnage for more or bigger weapons is mighty nice thing.
