I have been sporting a new King Crab of late. I think it is a good mech and the AC20s give me plenty of boom. I was on Alpine the other day, watching my lancemates walk away from and leave me in the cold wasteland. I traveled some distance (very little of course) and came upon 3 urbanmechs. First I saw of these little powerhouses and amazed I was that they traveled at the same speed. Cool, I thought, three morbil defense units that I can shoot over.
In to battle we went and wreckage followed in our wake. As the battle continued, my ammo for the AC20s began to fall. Nervous I became, and began to suffer from strange visions. Do you remember those old cartoons? The ones where one hungry toon stared at another with longing eyes, only to watch the other toon turn into a piece of meat. It was like that. The urbies began to look like little toon bullets.
My break from reality continued under the stress of mech combat. I saw in my mind, distrubing vision of what the other players would see printed to the side of the screen began to appear.
Grab urbie, load, fire...
Grimvid has killed amazed friendly urbie
Grimvid has killed "what is that coming at me" enemy
Grab second concerned urbie, load, fire...
Grimvid has killed screaming friendly blue urbie
Grimvid has killed coming around corner and wondering what did in that lancemate red enemy
Moving to grab the last sweating in panic urbie....
The vision went on and the tears started.
My request is for those that might need therapy, can you put a sign on the back of the urbanmech. A sign like that of the claymore mine used in the military, "Front toward enemy". Something like "not to be used as ammo."
Thank you.
