Not an issue with this patch per se, but I'm unsure where this should properly go. The reduction in screen blur for LRM strikes (thank you!) reminded me that even after getting very comfortable with the Pirates' Bane I am still constantly annoyed every time I open up with my machine guns. The flash suppressors on the end of the barrels focus the flash of my shots in all directions, including my cockpit. This makes the 'mech weirdly reliant on thermal vision to avoid being half-blinded by flashes of fire from my muzzles.
PLEASE, may we reduce the flash from the machine guns? It makes me play at a handicap unless I make liberal use of thermal vision mode - and I miss all the cool scenery!

A strange disadvantage indeed. It does add to immersion but does effect play, considering the meta builds out there, we need to compete. I have a Pirates Bane too. I changed to Med-lasers from mgs just so I could see out of the cockpit. It would be nice if the smaller MGs (I assume the 3D model is smaller on the locust than on ... the highlander?) so can we make the particle effect generator smaller? Perhaps a polarized guard on the cockpit to reduce the glare of the mgs. It makes me reliant on tactical screens too much.

I have a similar issue with my CDA-3C. I can use about 1/3 of my screen while firing. You guys have it worse though with the CT mounted guns.
