So.... have onyl a few matches under my belt, so can't comment too much, but a few basic observations.

GOOD:
-Hit boxes seem good
-Size is right
-Looks great
-Weapons scaled right
-FUN!

BAD:
- While slow speed was expected... the Acceleration is like a hibernating 3 toed sloth.
-Only one Mech Module Slot? REALLY? (Don't wanna risk OP, lol)
- Probably needs a bigger twist rate..at least stock.... lol..wow.

UGLY
- Always seem to draw caustic when running stock...or Alpine (I think Paul set the MM to do that on purpose)
- Getting stepped on by own team... a lot.

What have y'all noticed?

for me

like;
it looks awsome
its small
agility/handling is good

bad;
any big guns on it (even the UAC5) is not viable
the max DPS on this tings is way to low ...

Been doing pretty good with the UAC, but I do have to be more careful with my shots.

Turretart.

Too early to tell not even thru basics yet on em so, not even looking at them with any critical thought yet. I just think they're a lot of fun so far.

If I could have one thing? It would like, 5 left/right reticle action. Something absurdly small cuz the arms are so stubby. :)

I have noticed that sometimes its too damn small that its ignored completely xD othertimes its just focused completely if that makes any sense, like i will go some matches in the middle of a brawl and just chew the crap outta mechs ankles they see me ignore me and i kill their friends, other times they just want me dead lol but mostly it seems its so small it is ignored because they cant tell whether its a OP or Silly easy mech to kill

On occasion i have seen people run away from it lol..

Ran my first match stock, and oh boy, the slowness. That torso twist rate is horrendous! But I survived being mauled by a Raven (thank you friendly Timberwolf!), survived the match, and even got a kill. Looking forwards to the modifications to come!

Enjoying the heck out of my Urbie. Just running Ac20, with a STD 100 upgrade, because honestly, STD60 is unbearable unless they give us a tiny map, or an urban map. This mech is truly a back alley brawler. Pop out of a corner, Drop 2 AC20, disappear behind a small rock. This is the potshot mech. Mainly because it can't handle sustained DPS, but also that's part of its role. Small profile, torso mounted lasers, and surprisingly survivable.

I'm guessing at different scale, 30+ kph would feel a lot faster...

Also I am ******* loving this 360 torso twist!

Only got time for one match - river city. Didn't start in a death slot, spawned under the bridge, but so many attempts to leap up to play forms at mid :( Victory with reasonable damage and assists but no kill. Here's hoping on-call isn't busy tonight so I devote more time for them when I get home.

The good:
- fun as hell
- very viable ... at least in Pugville.
- a lot of possible loadout
- 360° twist!
- average pilot will ignore you....bad for him
- MUST WUB : http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b5e8780d51804cd

and 360 dmg per match average.

The bad.
- slow twist speed, even with max engine
- few modules (because they knew urbie was gonna to be op..)
- I spent 20 million c-bills to custom my own 3 Urbie.... :(

The Ugly.
- My dream was to melt faces with a ac20.... but these were the only 2 builds I manage to find:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...9b8d73912d11c8e
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...0c3ff3b9a1a7a46

...and I managed to do only around 200 dmg.... and still no kills.... :(

stick a std 100 in there, upgrade the internal structure, and get used to ~50kph. you really open up some possibilities, then. Just get used to auto-throttle everywhere and it's not so bad.

think of your self as a micro-sized Atlas, with jumpjets.

I kinda felt bad for dropping in a 180XL, rather than the 60STD, but with a 60 it takes most of the match to actually do 360°. Still, it's great not to have to worry about meta and just have fun!

What I will say though, is that standard puglandia Nascar tactics are really punishing. When I get River City Skirmish it's easier just to do a 'stationary suicide charge' and hopefully land an AC20 or two before the inevitable end. With that in mind, I would like to request a 'Metro' consumable: Park the Urbie on a metro stop, activate the consumable, and a bus comes along that you can ride anticlockwise around the map until you catch up with friendly forces...

I've been tripping over alot of these lately, they're so short!

It's really weird too how *slowwwly* their legs move despite their overall speed, especially when you watch a STD engine Firestarter jogging alongside with the legs swinging twice as fast.

That 3MPL+4MG build is just...wow...it's feindish how much DPS it can crank out, especially if the enemy mech is distracted by some gauss rifle kitfox or something. (totally hasn't happened to me)

I'm very disappointed they made it as a fast as the adder/kitfox, when it was never supposed to be. Probably has better hit boxes and size profile as well.

Very frustrated.

Its fun, but Im getting my ass handed to me.. alot.

pulling 0.7 kdr in all but the 4 energy, that one gives me a little better around 1.0 kdr.

It will get better once the hype dies down. People are gunning for urbies right now.

I've been running almost exclusively energy builds, with MG backups for when I'm overheated.

The weight of anything larger than UAC-5 just doesn't seem viable, not at speeds under 90, so I've been trying combinations of energy with lots of MG backups.

XL-170, DHS, ES seems to work on just about every build I dare attempt.

Biggest obstacle is that there are way too many Streak-6 noobtubes running around right now.

I think little Urbie is going to need some more Quirk love leaning a little more towards Energy builds tbh, or fine tune some turning speed quirks so it can maneuver around a little better at those lower speeds.

Would be nice to talk about MG's too and where they're sitting.
