After just 6 matches, I'm at a 1.0 KDR (4 kills, 4 deaths), and 1.0 WLR (3 wins, 3 losses). It's the perfect MM 'mech!
And yes, there's probably more efficient (and better) builds out there, but dangit, an Urbie should have an AC/10 and a SL!

Yep, I like this too.
I feel it like a TRO Urbie with turbo speed.

As long as you don't get attacked (the armor is like tin foil), you can actually do some good! Last night I managed 3 kills!

Gets ignored a lot
Fun to drive
Cool factor off the charts
Bad: Acceleration is SLOW, even with an up-rated engine
Ammo critical - choose your shots carefully
No ugly to mention now. My first kill was a War Hawk that ignored me. I'll bet he won't ignore Urbies again.
It will be interesting to see how these mechs do once they're skilled up.

I thought my special geometry fell off my Zeus or my AMS fell off.
My experience with the urbie so far has been that when kicked they bounce off the wall pretty well and when picked up by an Atlas they can be thrown for at least 60 yards into the heat of the battle. The enemy thinks you sent them a lunch basket.

I had a go with the uac5 and three mediums only seems to have room for 1 ton ammo, well all I can squeeze in, finding a standard ac5 better, or reducing all, or two ML to SL's and the saved weight being use for ammo.
Good
Its a fun sized Easter egg
It annoys people, on both teams.
I top match score or top damage in it (yeah we lose) but you can feel the hate, as I announce the fact over open channels
weapons mostly look good (standard ac look a bit weenie)
oh I had a two kill game, love the cockpit items.... shame on the stalker pilot that used his urby can warhorn on your lrms boat, that sweet sound should only be heard when a tincan killer bring down the enemy for maximum embarrassement
Bad
It ain't practical to stick an ac20 boom stick in it, though I got a spider in mine ( shame on you all for crying about hit boxes)
The Ugly
People use me as a step to look over ridges

Of course, the fact that I didn't TELL the friendly crab I was using him as a warhorse may have contributed.
In any case, my non-stock builds I'm liking are:
3 ML, AC5
3 MPL, AC2
GOOD:
- Really high mount points; hill-popping is a breeze, especially when coupled with the broken hit-boxes on HPG.
- So damn fun. Just keep spinning! Just keep spinning!
- Beautiful cockpits and extras; the "No Signal" upper left terminal had me laughing.
- Surprisingly effective with energy builds; getting about 250-300 damage per game and a couple kills, though it does seem stuck in the "finisher" role and can't tank very well on its own.
- It really is Urbie season when even the Locusts come after you.

Good:
-The cockpit is fantastic. I laughed looking around and catching the note in the upper left corner.
-Excellent high mounted hard points.
-360 torso twist is actually incredibly useful when you've got an engine big enough to twist quickly
-It's small profile and good hit boxes
Bad:
-Armor isn't great, i've been melted in single alphas more in this mech in one day than I ever have been.
-STD 60 engine isn't really usable, too slow and unresponsive. Torso twist feels like slow mo.

doesn't need the xtra JJs, MGs suck, so don't like wasting too much ammo on them, and you'll never notice the 6 kph difference, IMO.

which due to scaling and nature of maps, kinda has to happen anyhow.
