In the original Tabletop game, the Colossus was a heavily modified fusion of a King Crab and a Marauder, with pulse lasers in its arms, an AC20 in its torso, and jump jets.

In MWO, it would look something like this:

Default Loadout: Endo Steel, 300 Engine, 2 Large Pulse Lasers, 2 Medium Pulse Lasers, 3 Jump Jets, 16 Double Heat Sinks, 19 tons standard armor

Maximum Engine: 400
Jump Jets: 3/3
Right Arm - 3x Energy
Left Arm - 3x Energy
Right Torso - 3x Ballistic
Left Torso - 1x Missile (15)

Quirks: Large Pulse Laser range +15%, Large Pulse Laser duration -15%, Energy cooldown -10%, Ballistic Cooldown -10%, Additional Armor (LA) +17, Additional Armor (RA) +17, Torso Turn Rate (Yaw) +25%

That'd be a serious beast, I wonder how many would scream "pay to win!"

Yet it was 95 tonner (so...it's not a K.Crab actually), I couldn't find any sign of rocket weaponry in it's primary variant. Sooo... 2 ballistic slots in LT and RT, and 3+3 energy in arms. Deal with it, Boars Head

Sounds like a Supernova. I'd probably be all for both, if I wasn't holding onto hope that the next clan assault is the Kodiak.

Duoangel has a point, though...there's significant overlap between this and the Boar's Head. Very similar hardpoints for two 100 tonners.

I know what the thing looks like, but I saw no mention of being a fusion of anything in its entry on Sarna. As far as I can tell, the Colossus got its start on Solaris, and that is about it.

As far as your proposed hardpoints go, how often do the Hero 'Mechs we already have get hardpoint inflation? (Not very often, from the chart) Getting that extra E in each arm, plus the extra B (and that M) seems a bit excessive for a Hero.

Still, I am a fan of the Solaris BattleMechs. Quite honestly I would rather see them as their own chassis instead of starring cameo roles like this. :P
Give me a Juggernaut and I will happily use it for hours on end. CX
