This mech needs one extra missile hardpoint in the left torso. BTW this is how I have my SUMMONER PRIME set up. This is the C variant...I feel the fact that you can swap hardpoints renders this variant obsolete. I would think giving an omnimech quirks to make it viable would defeat the purpose of having omnipods.

and why is there 4 extra heatsinks I don't need? These are omnimechs...without the whole omnimech aspect...At most I'd need 2 of those mandatory heatsinks. I just don't understand.

You must not play the board game. Those extra heatsinks cannot be removed there, either. It is where that rule came from.

Go buy the TechManual for Classic BattleTech. They'll explain how Omni-mechs work, and more importantly what they can't do.

Even the board game guys needed to game balance those Clan Mechs.

This is a major issue creating omnimechs and makign them obsolete by decidign unique CT quirks.
They said, they can not change the skillsystem, this is why we have to level 3 variants. yet with this, omnimechs aren'T omnimechs anymore. They are hardpoint changing battlemechs with construction restrictions.

A Clanner should only need one Chassis. And Master 3 Pod sets. They should not have to buy 3 Base Chassis. It is stupid. Plain and simple.

Clanners hate waste and this XP system is nothing but waste.
