Sry Op but i dunno how to activate death blossom.
If you do have an extra $500 lying around, pickup a gold mech.
As soon as the mech startup sequence is over "revers death blossom" mode gets activated.
Only problem is this mode is very inconsistent someimtes its just the armor on your leg. Other times when the dust settles a lance and a half can be gone.

Addendum to the Operator's Manual For The UM-R63, Sixty-Fourth Edition, Page 372:
"The best way to activate Death Blossom is to insert a command into your mech's systems such that the process is triggered when your ejection seat is fired. If this is not possible, then the mechwarrior must manually remove the control circuitry for the reactor control and cooling systems and hope their ejection seat is not one of the slower-firing models.
"It should be noted that using a Death Blossom anywhere within a civilian area is considered a Class Two war crime, and thus no responsible military power will sanction such a tactic for the UM-R63. Further, as the resultant mushroom cloud is centered on the position of the former mech whose pilot performed the unorthodox action, it's rather obvious to everyone who is to blame for the large amount of radiation added to their community. Pilots who survive the results of their desire to make a statement with their fusion reactors rarely survive the reception they receive from the local townspeople if they are unfortunate enough to have their ejection seat land within the general vicinity of the act.
"Finally, any attempted use of a Death Blossom maneuver will void the warranty on your UM-R63."

Oh, it's the reactor control circuitry.
I tried that earlier and I couldn't figure out why my radio stopped working. Good thing the repair crew left some duct tape on the console..

You haven't played the stand-up cabinet version of the game at the local gas station.
If you get top score, deathblossom attack is unlocked for your urban-mech.
Did I forget the part about "moving out of state" for a while, and your girlfriend gets diddled every night by a replcant robot instead of you? Hmm, must have missed that part in your introduction to being a Mechwarrior.
Everyone under the age of 35 is probably confused right about now. You have no idea what you missed in the glory days of the 1980's.

Hong Kong Phooey pulled those off all the time. (I'll see your 80's and raise you a 70's)

First you need to make sure it is even enabled.
Go into sound test and play tracks 19, 65, 09, 17 in that order. If you hear a ding, you did it right.
