Yup. It's a heavy pretending to be a medium. So nope, no bugs- it's just that the other SCRs are that much better than every other medium, and the A is nearly balanced while the others are in a league of their own. It's still a SCR. It still has the best hitboxes in its class for no penalty at all in tonnage or slots, the best firepower in class, best armor in class, close to best agility and speed in class... But... sure, it's weaker. Than the other SCRs. That's not saying much. It doesn't need any help. None of the SCRs do.

4E hardpoints in the RA might be the reason they shoot your arms.

The A variant doesnt change anything on the Crow.
Since I have no clue what your load out is, Im only assuming you are using multiple lasers in the left arm. This is going to increase the left arm's hitbox size causing you to loose it more often.

The stormcrow has Spider-level magical hitbox (but heavy-level firepower), lots of damage just passes trough it, the rest is easily spread trough all components. Sometimes it seems impossible to finish off.
Total BS, it should be patched and put in line with the rest of mechs.
Edit:
I also think Firestarter is overquirked and unbalanced , way too much firepower for a flamer mech, it obsoletes most non-ecm lights in game.
Why PGI can't create proper balance in this game?

I'd guess it's your play style that's the difference between the variants.
