Try the heat in Georgia, especially with low insulation. :)

Southern, NC here. I had several people tell me their thermometers registered 108 yesterday, with the heat index reaching near 120, and we started losing power in several areas around Charlotte before the storm hit just from days of overloading the grid!

Edit: scratch that; I just checked and the heat index hit 123 yesterday, while the air temperature was about 106

Here in TN we got up to 112 on friday, fortunately for once there was little to no humidity, but breathing the hot air was still uncomfortable. Got up to 108 today until some clouds rolled in. Damn things refused to rain on us though.

Hopefully you won't be without it too long. I'm in SW VA, near the TN line. People a few miles away are without power, but here the lights have blinked a couple of times and the cable-based 'net went out for about 5 minutes... otherwise nothing. A lot of thunder and cloud-to-cloud lightning. Makes for a decent light show.
