I have cockpit glass disabled in my user.cfg file. However I see cockpit glass in the warhawk.

Checked the dire, raven, adder, timber, grasshopper, awesome, and a couple others... no cockpit glass as normal for my user.cfg.

Bug? Anyone else seeing this.

ETA... Was only on forest colony (non snow) so far for me in testing ground and also in an actual match. Another unit member had similar. No cockpit glass on mining colony for example but cockpit glass on forest colony.

I have the same problem as well. Cockpit glass appears on Forest Colony even though it's disabled in user.cfg file.

This should never exist. It absolutely kills frame rates, and not in a pretty way either. It is bad and just looks bad.

Yea, not just you. All other mechs that I drive seem to be ok (no cockpit glass bs). Might have to switch mechs in the drop deck till it is fixed.

I thought this thread was going to be about the fact that the Warhawk ( and the Mist Lynx ) show no cockpit at all at the begining of a match until you start moving the torso. I always have cockpit glass on so I didn't notice another bug.

I have an fx 8350 @ 4.5 ghz and an r9 290x. Cockpit glass affects my frame rates and makes them non fluid. You shouldn't base your opinions on your limited experience.

ooooooor, PGI has alot of optimization work with the game engine ahead of them.

I have a FX 8350 and an R9 290 Tixx OC and I don't notice FR drops to bad. I unlocked all my 8 cores on my 8350 so maybe this made the difference.

I noticed this happens on other maps as well. Such as Viridian Bog and Grim Portico.

What an attitude. There are a lot of players playing this game on lowest settings possible. Disabling cockpit glass gives me 5-10 FPS.
