Now that PGI is doing an Urbie promotional leaderboard event, wouldn't it be great if next weekend they ran a reverse leaderboard and gave out MCs for the highest number of Urbies killed by non-Urbies? This would go well with the sheer number of Urbies we're all seeing on the battlefield these days.

No. It would single out innocent urbies and create a lot of buyers remorse.

people have asked to get the urban mech mostly because they wanted to have either "fun" (by driving a trollmech) or a "challenge" (by driving the underdog mech compared to everything else). Therefore people would get exactly what they have asked for if there was such a challenge.

If there's already a challenge in doing so, they don't need to be unfairly focus fired even more because of it.

lol, so you choose a mech in order to annoy other people and wonder when you get attention ...

It's no more of an annoying mech than a kitfox.
Unless its stock
Then its adorable.

The whole problem with my reverse leaderboard proposal is that once announced, nobody would play Urbies for the whole time, making it a useless weekend. Kind of like a 'Where's Waldo?'.

And here, I thought there was gonna be a leaderboard for the longest time spent in a match in reverse.

Because that's actually feasible, with Urbamechs.

LOL! that would be interesting to view - you might never notice that they're actually going backwards.

These two 'tornaments' should go at the same time, so, while Urbies' pilots are going for kills there are many other that are going to kill Urbies. That would be the most challenging event for slow lights ^_^

I've got it.

Instead of actively hunting Urbies, it's a Guard your Urbie(s).

Assuming each team has 3 Urbies. Their objective is to kill the other team's, while defending their own. Each Urbie present is worth 1 point; for keeping yours alive, and for killing the other team's.
