So last night I was doing some CW drops with the assorted Lyran lances.
We pulled a Clan Wolf team...a very contested team.

On this team there was a stormcrow, this stormcrow was out running my 126kph panther and out running its walk animation. I was not the only person on my team to notice this, IE not isolated to some lag related issue.

As far as I can tell, this should not be possible and the max speed for a stormcrow is 106.9kph w/ speed tweak.

Am I missing something here.

250 was the highest ping at the time. I usually sit at 30-60, in this case 48.
It was on Boreal Vault just to the left of the silos between alpha and beta gate. We were attacking, pushing beta gate. This crow ran through the centre valley around the silos then poked beta gate, then I died.

Wish I had screen cap going.

Well as the owner of stormcrows I can tell you they do max at 106.9 kph (Which is insanely fast for a medium other than a Cicada). My guess would be packet loss and general netcode lag. I've had Ravens outpace my Locusts before (which shouldn't be possible) because the mech lags out and next packet update is not where it was.

I'm always forgetting about the Fenris (Ice Ferret)... Though yes the 129 kph base speed does make it faster. My Griffons and Wolverines come in near 100 kph as well. Outside my Crabs I don't really run mechs I'd tend to think of as slow...

I seem to recall seeing a video of a Warhawk doing something similar. Everyone was calling "SPEED HACK" but from what others have said it sounds like it can look like something is going faster than it is, depending on some circumstances.
Not that I have any idea how it all works. XD

Heh as a Stormcrow player myself, I have to say that going 120+ kph sounds like more fun than I could sustain. My head would just violently explode from overloaded pleasure centers. This mech is murder as it is; the speed is one of its greatest assets, and I would greatly enjoy getting to run it at 120+ kph, even if only in the testing grounds!
