So we have the Direwolf, the Warhawk, the Executioner and even Mr. Gargles. That's 100, 85, 90, and 80 ton slots filled. Can you guess what's missing? That's right, 95 tons. But no need to panic, I have your solution! The most bad ass mech that the Jade Chickens could come up with in their interim between screwing the IS and screwing the Wolves. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Turkina.

Seriously, this thing is friggin awesome. 2xLB-5's, 2xER-PPC's, 2xLRM-15's?! The things I could do with this 'Mech, and the carnage it would reap would be oh so sweet. Does anyone else agree that the Turkina should make it into the game at some point?

It's basically a Dire Wolf S with less pod space, fewer hardpoints, and a little bit less armor.

Don't forget the jump jets! Although it definitely mounts more missiles than a DW, probably.

That said, I have very fond memories of this 'Mech from the MechCommander Desperate Measures pack.

And that game had the most absurd Mech Bay system ever. They let you stuff 81 tons of weapons into the Turkina-W variant, since ammo and heat sink costs were somewhat factored into the weapons tonnage. And since there was no heat, no hardpoints, and no critical space limitation . . . I put 6 C-ERPPCs on the thing!

The DWF-S also gets JJs.

For missiles, so far most of the 3052 variants have 2 missile hardpoints or none. The Whale gets 2 in the LT with the Alt A's LT pod and 1 in the CT with the Alt S's CT pod (albeit just 1 slot to use). But then again, missile boating on either doesn't seem very productive in the first place...

Not exactly what I meant. While the loadout is good, I am talking about the feel of piloting this machine, it's unique birdlike look, you know what I mean? Plus it's a little faster than a Dire. :)

I want to order a Supernova to fill this 90 t gap, because the executioner is 95t, so this gap is already filled.

bye Turkina,

Both mechs have the same speed.

Yea I know... but due to the firing speed of all of the mechs, everything feels a little off to me... hell even my Timber Wolf D feels off, she over heats too fast with those cERPPC's... and lets not even talk about my Awesome, or the poor, poor Highlander.... The Highlander 732 should be ice cold... in TT if she fires everything and jumps she only generates 20 heat, most times you will be in the 10-14 heat range, meaning you are only +2 heat on the next turn.... Or give her just 10 DHS, and she should never overheat....

well then give MWO, true refirerates of 10 secs and true DHS. many mechs in MWO run so hot bevcause the rate of fires we have are extremely high compared to the TT. in TT one shot per weapon in 10 seconds. not more not Ac 2 more, not ac 20 more, just that one weapon.

That, and lack of true DHS... those two things really hurt the clan mechs, as well as a lot of mechs that should be ice cold... Take a YEN-LO-WANG it should only generate 17 heat a turn, yet cool 20... or generate 1.7 heat/sec and cool 2 heat / sec if we were to make it into a real time thing...

Except that the Executioner is 95 tons. The spot that needs filling is the 90 ton slot ... with the Kingfisher.
