It's not special, no. It sounds impressive because you might assume that 1% of the player base have it (I suppose that is impossible anyway as it's a moving target). You just get it for playing long enough and earning $ so you don't even need to be good to get it.

i've the 1% title, all it really means is you are almost certainly a premium user at somepoint and you play alot of Mech Warrior.

It doesn't mean much,

all the titles really are just a demonstration of either luck time played or your part of a group that helps each other farm them
