He means the ability to choose your language so you don't get LFG'd with non-native speaking people.

At least that's the way it's coming across.

I feel like a mental midget realizing that now.

Yes, that would be very handy. I fully support implementation of "preferred" language groupings. That way, you could end up either an English or Russian-speaking group if you were comfortable with both languages. Or you could select only English or Russian, if you were only comfortable with one.

its so that instead of waiting in a queue for no one to show up, you instead wait in lfg for no one to show up.

Are you talking about CW or about regular games? CW isn't gonna be that active right now with the reset incoming on the 21st. I mean, I still play it, but if I'm trying to group up I already have groups to look up in FRR.

In regular games, there has been plenty of activity on the LFG system at all hours for me.

This is one of those challenges that would be better if people would turn their in game voice chat on. Joined a 10 man a few minutes ago, and we got stomped hard 12-0, but I think me and the other guy who were actually communicating and talking were the only ones to score the minimum 30 points to qualify.

thats because the people who already play in the group queue are usually pretty good. lfg really just put pugs in groups. units are having a field day stomping the pug groups into the ground.

for some reason i thought i was in the cw forum, my bad. that was one of the things lfg was supposed to fix, but lfg is pretty much useless in cw, and that was during peak hours. regular lfg mode has been pretty quick.

What do you mean by "language support"?

I'm not trying to be rude at all, I don't understand. Do you mean translation of game UI into other languages aside from English? Or somehow translation software integrated to translate chat in real-time?

Of course there is a point to communicate with them; winning! Calling out targets, scouting, suggestions for tactics, etc.

Well, it should support the choice between different languages. I group with german players (I am german) and use teamspeak because I can communicate more accurate that way. Everything else I handle with ingame voip and some "amazing" english skills lol.

Thats exactly my point :)

If there ever were a mentoring system in MWO similar to dota2's then I'd expect the same choice of language. It makes communication a lot easier for non native speakers.

for small player guilds like mine, you had to scour multiple ts3s to cobble a 12-man together...

this allows ppl to quickly find a group, designate a ts3 to meet, build your faction friendslist...

very good feature...

Did stumble into a flaw with it though. Our Group needed 9 players. We got those 9, launched and while waiting for the match to que up. had 3 players join us. ready to launch, and then while that was going on, 4 players either quit or got dropped from our launching! This happened multiple times, delaying our drop for a good 45 minutes.

Now maybe it was some folks Trolling, but if it is not then it is a problem needing looked into. :(

Otherwise. I had fun even playing above my Elo like I did. :)

LordNothing o7 nice seeing you yesterday.
