Artemis Costs Way Off?!

so I wanted to switch my zeus from triple LRM15 to ASRM6, but when I tried to add artemis, I found this:

Whoa! 851,200 Cbills!

What happened here? always thought it was 250k for every mech since it was changed back in the day.

I have this only on this specific variant. Anyone else?

Did you take the other launchers off first? It may be trying to charge you for the installation of three now ALRM15 launchers as well as the 250k flat fee.

When you still have missiles equipped, the game attempts to convert them and charge you "extra" if you don't have the supply.

Usually doing the upgrade w/o missiles (or having Streaks) equipped does not charge you "extra".

Already thought on that and stripped the mech, didn't change.

You have to buy new weapons (and ammo).

Equipping Artemis only affects your 'mech, not the already installed weapons. If you look in your inventory you will have LRM15's and LRM15(+A) separately

So after stripping and changing loadout 3 times and saving everytime, I now am back to old costs of 250k.

Still that's weird, normally if you equip artemis, the mech is stripped from all non-artemis launchers. there should be no extra cost at all because you have to manually add the A-launchers....

It could just be treating your mech as if it doesn't have the launchers in stock.

Of course, they had this problem with Consumables, so this wouldn't be surprising.
