With the recent buffs to fix Clan UACs, I was hoping that perhaps PGI could take a look at JJs next. They really should make a Mech more nimble like in the novels!

Let me ask the OP this:

Do you seriously advocate the use of a poptarting Daishi?

Because you know people are going to use it. Your proposal reeks of Pandora's box, which was thankfully closed for the most part by PGI.

No thank you to JJ buffs. It's hurt my beloved Heavy Metal, but I'll take the hit to my hero mech over seeing a bunch of scum use poptarting again any day.

Actually, I don't have a problem with a JJ'ing Dire. Clan ACs, even with the new burst times, don't make good poptart weapons. The Dire doesn't have a lot of jets and wouldn't be able to poptart very effectively even with these buffs. You're scared of a shadow.

Poptarting is still around, fyi. In it's official statement, PGI declared that they did not want to eliminate poptarting since it was a viable tactic. All I am suggesting is increasing the thrust from our JJs to make our Mechs more nimble. The heat generation, screen shake, and fall damage would remain. Thus, a JJ'ing Dire would be a risky venture even with my buffs. The only major advantage these buffs would give it is the ability to move around the map more effectively.
