and i noticed something called camos. i really like some of them but the price confusing me.
does one shot camo is for one game? or day?
how about colors i still need to pay for them to change when i buy camo?
anyway why are this things are so damn expensive? i mean in mmo game like that being able to customizie your avatar is essential. im so bored of this greenish slug mechs everywhere imagine now if everty player would have some sort of custamizions options more avalible it would be awesome.. i mean they could add so many thing to change different arms torso legs ( i dont mean some stuff out of lore, just different versions of models)- like in dota2 they just make money by dressing the dolls , there is no need to pay enourmus amounts of cash just to change one color from green to less green :/

Unlock means that you unlock the camo pattern for all mechs (owned and future owned) of the chassie and that chassie alone.
means, if you buy a camo unlock for your jenner, all jenners you own can wear and change into that camo. if you want the same camo for your raven you have to unlock the camo for said raven chassies again (expect hero, resistence, phoenix and invasion 'mechs).
unlocked camos can be applied or changed for free as often as you like.
* you can change the color of unlocked and one shot camos (2 or 3 colors depending on the camo) for free and as often as you like. of course only if you own the color.
** if you want a one shot instead of a unlock, make sure to first select one shot and then the camo of your desire below. if you first pick the camo it will not automatically change from unlock to one shot (you can see that the MC price is not changing).

Unlock camos apply to all the mech chassis of that class you have selected, e.g. all Hunchbacks, and you can change them out any time and put them back an unlimited amount of times. But only on that chassis.
Colors are separate from the camo, but color unlocks are global and can be applied to any mech or any pattern, even Stock or Hero patterns, and you can change them at will.
As to their cost - it is was it is. Wait for a 50% off sale or a MC 20% extra sale to lower the costs if you want them.

One Shots are good for one Mech only and last as long as you do not change the camo. For example, I recently purchased a One Shot Buccaneer Camo for my Quickdraw 4H. It only affects the one 4H for which I purchased the camo. As long as I do not change camos, I will always have the Buccaneer camo scheme on my 4H. I can alter the colors at will. If I replace my Buccaneer scheme with a Phranken scheme, then I would have to repurchase the Buccaneer if I ever decided to change back to it later.
An Unlock is different. Unlocks are considerably more expensive than One Shots and unlock the camo scheme for all variants of a chassis. No matter how many Mechs of a chassis you purchase, either before or after you buy an Unlock, all of them will be able to use the Unlock. Unlocks are forever, so you can switch to another paint scheme and then switch back at a later point in time without having to buy it over again.

Colors do not come with the camo. There are free colors that you can purchase for C-bills. All others need to purchased with MC though. Once purchased, colors are unlocked for all Mechs of all chassis. You do not have to pay money to change between colors you own.

This game is free to play, meaning that you can play it without ever having to drop a dime on it. Monetizing vanity items such as paint colors and schemes is one way that PGI makes money. Just be thankful that the game is free and that you only have to buy the extras.

COLOURS: When you buy a colour, any colour... you can use that colour forever on any mech you want as many times as you like.
CAMO UNLOCKABLES: This unlocks the camo for a single chassis. So if you unlock Woodland camo on a Cataphract, it will be available to all your Cataphracts and only your Cataphracts and you can turn it on it off as many times as you like. DON'T GET THIS. It's an extraordinary rip-off.
CAMO ONE-SHOTS: This applies the camo to one single mech. If you apply it to your Cataphract 3D, it will only go on that particular mech. If you own a second Cataphract 3D, that one is not affected, since it's a different Cataphract 3D. The One-Shot camo remains on the mech you applied it to for as long as you leave it there. If you ever change it to a different camo and save the changes, you lose the old one. BUY THESE, they cost 10% of the price of unlockables (which means you can apply ten one-shots for the price of one unlock), they're super cheap to apply to all your mechs.

Unlock a Camo and you can use it on JUST THAT CHASSIS but you can always put it back on if you change it.
Buy a one-shot Camo, and it applies to that ONE mech, and if you ever change the camo, you lose it.
Note: You can change whatever colors you want on the camo you already have applied and you WON'T lose the camo.

2 - Any color purchase or unlock (for instance, by means of a pre-order mech pack bonus) is universal and permanent. Once you get a color, it's yours to do with as you please. The only exceptions to this are the Hero paints, which do not unlock, though as they are flagged as defaults for their respective Hero mechs you can always return to them on those specific mechs if you wish.
3 - Camo patterns come in two categories, one-shot and permanent unlock. One-shots are single-use purchases. They last until you change the camo, at which point changing back will require another purchase. Permanent unlocks are tracked on a per-Chassis basis and allow you to change to and from the unlocked camo, on that chassis only, as many times as you want without limit.
