Unless I see you with a Team Liquid, eNigma, FNATIC or other similar tag, I'm not going to count you as a 'professional gamer'. Were you in any of the IGN Prime, US Open or CBT tournaments for World of Tanks?
Even if you were, I wouldn't class any WoT tournament as 'professional'.
Sorry to be harsh, but your post was so full of holes, assumption and poorly researched info it completely destroyed any credibility you claimed to have by being a professional gamer.

It's like saying that Skyrim is the same as Call Of Duty as they are single player shooters.
The one thing that this game has going for it is the massive franchise, 25+ years on and it is still a highly popular game no matter what format, paper and pencil, models or computer games.
But I agree with most of the posts above just looking up Battle Tech in your prefered online encylopidia would have shown how very much different this game is going to be with a frachise holder looking over the devs shoulder to make everything is ok at every stage.

Overhaul the laser graphics they are a horrible and look “1990'ish”, make them thicker or at least have them fire as a beam in a sequence instead of all at the same time.(would be good for heat management as well, and would still deliver the same DPS) A good vanity item would be to allow the player to change the color of the laser, by inserting a different lens?
Try to implement the least amount of player restrictions as possible. More player freedom means more player power, more player power means more player happiness, more player happiness means more dollars in your pocket.
The Business model used by F2P games will be very similar across the board, but WoTs Business model is rooted in the Match Maker(Guess). Unless you have some inside information from both WGing and PIR Games no one know what these two Dev Studios have for their Core Business. Is it premium, is it vanity items. We all just don't know.
I cann't remember when the Pulse Lase was added, but whats it going to look like? The only weapons I have really seen are Med Lasers and LRMS...Can't wait to see more.
I got to the point you referred to Tiers and MW in the same sentence and stopped...MW doesn't use tiers for anything...
Light Mech doesn't equal an Assault. They have two completely different jobs, but if the Light has a large laser it will do the same damage to the Assault as a single large laser on the assault.
I understand where you are coming from, just don't think its a good place to come from. Go back and start over.

I'll give you some advice here dude..
1) Delete that account.
2) Spend a day meditating about why exactly you're a stuck up *****.
3) Come back to these forums.
4) Start reading.
5) Once you feel you've read everything of importance, read everything again.
6) Create a new account.
7) Politely introduce yourself to these forums as a new player willing to learn.
8) Never mention your old account or your alleged 'pro-ness'.
If that's too much effort for you: you know where the door is, now show the world you're capable of exiting through it too.
God, people like this just rub me the wrong way.

Sorry, but you're clearly off-base on this, and a lot of your other ideas. This is where you lost me though.
If the purpose of your "game" is to keep people coming back, then that's correct. If the purpose of your game is too have actual competitive play, than this is a TERRIBLE idea. One, it invalidates all your old content, and two it just keeps putting larger gaps between certain players. It's a question of if you want Farmville or Starcraft. Ideally a game would have very little variation in non-player controlled aspects. But since RPG stat bonuses have been all the rage, we're stuck with it.
I could go through the rest of it, but roughly it has all the same issues. I would guess that you're relatively young, and haven't actually played games back before they became money graps.
Your opinion isn't any more valid or invalid than anyone else here. I don't wish to say anything insulting, as it would be a break in the TOS, but your qualifications are not worth including, as they just deter from your point.

Given that you got the incorrect information on the Founder's 'Mechs, and that's probably the most publicized feature of the game so far.. I have to believe that you spent more time writing your e-peen flexing post, then you did researching MWO.
All the "concerns" you raise, have been addressed here on the forums.
edit: Your title states multiple professional gamers gave their input..I'd like to know what other pro gamers contributed to your post?

There's going to be open beta- but seriously, reading the rest of this pointed me straight towards "have you been reading the FAQs or checking the gameplay videos?".
There are no tiers here, no functionally unique designs that only money players can use and no special ammo for real money either. Paying $5 does not suddenly make your AC/10 into an AC/20. Real money, quite simply makes your progress faster in getting things/exp (Founder's Mechs give you a C-bill bonus, premium accounts an exp bonus) but it doesn't mean you have a special snowflake spot other players won't get to. Free players aren't stuck with crappier designs- they just buy the same equipment with C-bills as everyone else.
Trying to apply WoT gameplay/economic theory to MWO isn't gonna work very well.

The only thing which lends some credence to the statement of being a professional gamer is that its obvious from your lack of social skills that the majority of your time is spent behind a monitor with the only interaction is done via chat window. You really come off as a self-important, self-entitled teenager and your blatant demand to be given a beta invite is truly disgusting.
Your entire post reeks of epeen and for the sake of new people visiting the forums I truly hope they lock and/or remove it. I have done the same things you claim to in Diablo 3 in the same amount of time, you are not a snowflake.

These types of posts suck because, there were some valid points in there, but the responses he got were given to him with an angry forked tongue based purely on the fact that he prefaced his post saying he was a pro. That tends to fire people up lol

1. you havent played the game so everything you say is a guess
2. you have presented nothing to support your claim as a proffesional gamer other then spouting facts that any causal gamer would know by googleing a few basic things
my conclussion, you are ether someone who is full of them self, or a troll
2 issues here
1) He has played a game with a very similar business model and is only offering information associated with his actual experience that may in fact help the people who want MWO to be successful, achieve that goal.
2) He did so in a respectful manner and avoided doing any name calling or personal attacks.

You would have to ask him, but I believe the purpose of the statement would be to qualify himself. An analogous situation would be a medical professional qualifying himself as a Doctor before giving medical advice.

I watched few WoT matches and it was like this
"THEY BLEW OUR TURRET"
And player was keep going on firing... lol field repair on a turret its half ton for Christ sake
Zoom in O_O literally like zoom zoom in x16 x 32 xD realism
Being shot from front armor got damaged from engine xD
I bet its fun to play but realism ?
Russ: "If you have heatsinks on legs of your mech being in water will help expel excess heat from mech alot faster"
Russ: "Thermal imaging will be blurred in deserts due to excess heat comming from ground"
Russ: "A well placed autocanon can shake your mech ,a second one with short delay may make your mech fall"
Russ: "Bumping into other mechs will damage your mech.Landing on a mech with your jumpjets may cause enemy mech to fall"
Russ: "LRM impacts cause based on number of missles pulsate your cockpit"
You are going to play a game about robots shooting each other with lasers and you're ragging on another game for not being realistic? Okay mate. Anyway, realism != fun.
Anyway, I think it's hilarious that a WOT player with 51% winrate goes around calling himself a "proffessional gamer". That's barely above average.
