NARC's weapon description says: "Counters ECM". Well it doesn't actually. I personally narced a couple mechs (Timberwolves & Hellbringers - CW clan bunch) under ECM and nothing happened (I did hit them/they were in range) - no narc icon, no ECM counter, nothing. Can someone explain does it or does it not counter ECM or is it a bug?
I expected narced unit to be shown on map and to be lockable as long as narc lasts, under ECM or not.

NARC when attached to an ECM equipped Mech negates it's ECM. NARC under an ECM field not being generated by the NARCed Mech doesn't relay it's info.

It works, but if there are multiple ecm units then narc gets squelched.

Next time, Narc the ECM Mech and if it is the sole ECM carrier, then Press "R".
