The idea of lifetime subs in a game like this is anathema. They are supposed to contunally update the game with new things you want to buy and play with to extract more money from you. That is how this business model works. Giving them all your money upfront no longer makes you a recurring source of income, it makes you a recurring cost. The entire idea around a business built around an online game is to build a base of players they can sell further products to on a regular basis, which causes them to continually produce new goods, and keeps those players interested in continuing to play the game.

There is a reason cell phone companies, power companies, oil companies, ISP, barbers, mechanics, and all other service people don't offer "Lifetime subscriptions". It DOESN'T work as a long-term business model, the entire point of a company offering them is to try to get as much money as they can before a game goes under. *cough* Hellgate London *cough*

Don't be a fool, never buy a lifetime subscription for any game for any reason.

$300? Not worth it. You'd have to play the game 30 months (2 1/2 years) before it payed off. And each of those months, you'd have to play enough to make the premium account worth it. IMHO, just paying $10 for monthly premium on the months you know you are going to benefit from it would be better.
