kfx-c cannot be bought with mc or c-bills but only gifted, for instance, probably there are other such mechs too, may be the whole that pack which will be available for c-bills in a week

You dont need an alt to gift to yourself. When you buy on the gift store you get a gift code which you can redeem using that handy redeem button on the top of the web page.

You can gift yourself whatever you want... except there's no point in regifting yourself stuff you already have.

For instance, you can buy premium time to use whenever you want, since the only way of banking premium time is buying a pack. Just redeem the code when you plan on playing (since it will auto-activate).

Keeping your billing info (credit card) tied to just one account vs several. Makes sense.

Then again, multiple profiles for one account would have been nice too. That's a different argument for a different thread though.

this solves my problem... The variant sale seemed better when I calculated the MC cost of the clan mechs. Torn between the Twolf and the Peacedove

Since you have to purchase gifts ... I don't see any reason that you can't gift to any account you like.

However, as far as I know you can't "gift" something you own on your account to any other account ... you have to purchase something new at the gift store and then you can use it on any account. If there is a mech variant that is only available through the gift shop (which seems really odd to me) then I can't see any reason why you couldn't just gift it to yourself.

Now why "gift it" when you can just buy it and skip a few mouse clicks...?
