Should we be able to mix tech in our dropdecks?

  1. Yes - I want to be able to use any mech I own regardless of faction (4 votes [5.41%])

  2. No - IS should only be able to use IS mechs and Clans should stick to Clan mechs (55 votes [74.32%])

  3. Yes - but we should only be able to use opposite tech when acquired through a salvage system (15 votes [20.27%])

...Currently, you are more rewarded for hopping factions than staying in one, ...

Which your proposal wouldn´t change at all.

This is what I am hinting at.

Not graciously, admittedly, but who cares.

Me too. I keep meaning to mock up a list of mechs so that each faction gets the same number of mechs with bonuses, but then I get lazy when I realise you have to dig pretty hard into the lore to figure it out sometimes.

They can start with 1/1/1/1 for each faction... it could be variants... like the K ones for Kurita..

or it could be chassis... like the cataphract line for liao

I say we do this and completely remove all quirks.

Then we'll know for certain who's a pro and who's a pug - pro's will have have a mix of timbie/hellbringer/brokencrow/t-bolts while the pug's will use everything else. And the game play will become incredibly stale, like most clanner dropdecks.

I would say if restricted to only one mech.

No, just a flat No. There is a reason we have two sides separated, if we don't have separate and different flavored factions then there is no point in having the clans invade what so fricken ever.

If they take the attack and defend/ counter attack game modes copy and paste them in the pug queue so they don't effect the star map then yes, random pugs should be allowed to take whatever mechs they want.
