First suggestion in my first post in the forum, need your support.
I like the current game design. Graphic, bullets explosion, etc. But it gets repetitive to have the same form of combat over and over. I am talking about Skirmish, Conquest and Assault. The recent CW addition is nice, but still is based on similar content.
I believe this game can increase a significant pool of game players that enjoys playing the old time mech warrior 4 map contents: the player vs. environment contents, the mech can crash something weak contents. I am not necessarily saying that we have to add something like mech warrior 4. But we can twist the idea around and add something attractive.
The maps can have more contents to support other game modes:
For example, we can have an escort game mode. Where twelve people can guard the escort team and the other team brings the assault, ambush, etc. It requires more coordination than just two teams verse each other. The mobile trucks and cannons can support extra fire for the escort team. The escort team needs to scout in advance for good tactical purpose. I believe everybody has their own opinion for this section.
The conquest mode of the game can adopt the theory based on the battlemech history, where the mech can actually capture the control of a base to gain control of the defense tower. There should be more map contents in relates to the capture of the resource collectors. (I am not saying we should change the current map content of the conquest mode. We can add another one based on what I suggest.)
Third, 12 team players doesn’t necessarily have to play against other 12 team players. This suggestion is actually going to be a future suggestion, but good to mention it in the map contents thread. There can be a specific mission to do for 12 team players. Retrieve something in a poison environment where the alien race guards them, Assaulting Steiner’s base that is classified as assassin mission.
The theory is:
If we add one map, we have one more map. If we add one game mode, we can have this game mode on every map.
I agree with the point that pure PVP contents of the game play can stick people around to hope for their next match that they do can be cooler and better than their previous one. Player vs. environment can also increase the player pool for casual players.
Thank you for reading my post.

Well adding more content is always good but there is effort needed to make new content feasible.
The way this game works i feel an escort mission would not be fun to play. I just cant think of a way to make it fun or interesting if your escorting this big tracked mobile base that wouldn't become unfair or frustrating to either the defenders or attackers.
As for PVE well thats not what this SPECIFIC game is about, its about skirmishes between teams of players. Plus no AI units exist aside from the turrets so there would be a lot of effort needed to make that game mode.
Personally the only Game mode I would like to see added would be like a 4 vs 4 battle arena. That way people can have fun running mechs in smaller scale battles.

Be able to adapt the combat environment is one of the major game play requirement for the players in this game. If there isn't such a requirement, players will be able to choose whatever the map we want to play instead of the map selection is randomly generated for the player. When we don't want our Laser pack show up on a hot map, the hot map just keep poping up. That is one of the game changing elements that needs the players to adapt.
I see your point here. Let me help to clear out some confusion here:
If there is unfairness in the game, we should try our best to balance it. If the escorting team needs a buff, we can try to buff the mobile trucks, or transportation team. We can also add special ability for the mobile truck to have UAV on it. Or maybe the mobile truck can launch an UAV in a specified range of time. However we may think to buff the unfairness.
Unfairness happens everywhere in the game. Can we say that all the maps are equally fair in all aspect? It is part of the gaming element that we should deal with in the game. But if the unfairness is a trend that everybody thinks it is the best, like the Highlander 732 with Gauss rifle and 3 PPC and jump jet without shaky aiming back days, or the 6 PPC stalker without heat penalty, we definitely need to cure it.
Unfairness is not bad as long as it doesn't give the idea to the community that the game is not fun based on that specific "over power".
Game that is fun to play based on the theory:
Game mechanism consists of surprising. Would you rather feel better to win the game after you feel frustrated? Chances are all games you played consist some level of frustration. If you don't feel frustrated, you were not engaged to the game. If you were the last one in your group and manage to kill the last three of the enemy group, you and your friends would probably remember that match in many weeks.
Same idea that we have for the mobile track escort mission, the escort mission provides a dynamic changing environment that adds surprising elements to the game play. Where are they going to appear? How do we react on it? If you manage to dominate your opponent through frustration, you would really mean to say “Good Game!”
