Hehloes Warhawkers!

So brawling in a Warhawk does seem like a bad idea in all honesty, however it's surprisingly fun!

I've tried a brawling warhawk with 2x LPL, 3x MPL and 4x SRM6. It worked decently well but I felt it wasn't the best idea given that the warhawk can't really take much punishment. Somehow or another in a brawl I tend to get targeted first, probably because I look alot like a direwolf and even if they do figure I'm just a warhawk, they still attack me anyway.

Post quirkening, I've turned my warhawk into a 2x ERPPC and UAC 10 TC4 mid range skirmisher. It works decently well and even though it does feel underpowered at times, I think it still works pretty well at providing support.

To be honest man, when I run my HBK-4P, I looooove seeing a Warhawk stomping around. Dire Wolf, not so much, but Warhawks are just big juicy targets that I can headshot at times, and if not I can still pop the CT anyway.

Now, getting lurmed by a Warhawk from 900 meters out isn't nearly so much fun, so I'm not knocking your choice of mech at all, just saying that when I see a Warhawk in a brawl, the knives come out.

That video rather makes me wish I had in fact sprung for the Warhawk when I got my clan pack. Mm. C-bills, sometime.

The UAC20 is very powerful and with 4 SRM6, you might even outbrawl a DWF. When circled by an enemy at some distance I tend to not hit what I intend to hit with the UAC so I wasn't always too happy with the brawl build. The Warhawk is not so tanky and has few weapon slots, so slapping in a few large stand-off weapons works best for me; I prefer them to be boring, 4ERPPC (post quirk) or 4LPL.

I don't deny it, the Warhawk really isn't a brawler :/ the only time I ever get into a brawl is when my team outnumbers the opponent and I'm close enough to slap the opponent around with my UAC effectively i.e. hit what I wanna hit. At range my UAC is just to 'suppress' people (it works sometimes but at others it doesn't) and also to sustain fire when my heat is reaching its limit.

My main brawler's an Atlas DDC. Stark difference from a Warhawk in terms of play style.
