I had written up a whole thread on this.

http://mwomercs.com/...__fromsearch__1

My idea to ease the call for the Warhammer was to bring the 2 viable Hammerhands variants out, then create a 3rd energy based variants in tribute of the Warhammer. Thus having a Hammerhands variant that is different, but then also having a psuedo-Warhammer at least.

We all just want Warhammer in the end.

Hammerhands, Battleaxe. Doesn't matter as long as it has a -WHM variant that allows us to put in the Warhammer default weapons loadout.

If i had one choice. It would be the DRAGOON

I personally want the Hammerhands, hence my topic creation from way back that died out...sadly. HOWEVER, I feel that if included the Black Knight should be the next Heavy IS mech if it is in fact including an ECM variant. Then the next heavy being the Hammerhands.

PGI might prefer to make the Warhammer variant the hero HH. Or they could foster goodwill and put it in as a cbill variant.

I actually want the Hammerhands for what it is. The Dragoon would be a fantastic mech but I'd be shocked if we ever got it.

I have an interesting idea, mechs needs at minimum 3 varients, what if pgi released the HH with its in timeline variants +1 Warhammer varient and an ECM variant? It's a dream, I know, but still... It'd be epic.

What if... The Hammerhand's Warhammer variant would be ECM capable.

It is sad state of affairs in MWO when people still rely on ECM as a crutch. Current implementation of GECM is simply detrimental to mech variety. I dunno when PGI gets its lazy arse up and actually fix the core issue with GECM, but it needs to be done soon.

Well personally I don't own any ecm mechs. The idea about an ecm variant came because of Russ's desire for an ecm heavy.

Personally I find ECM over rated. Yes it is good, but not so OP that would infulance my mech selection....

The problem with ECM, as i see it, is that not enough people press "J". i.e Use the counter-ecm function, you guys know that gives you bonus c-bills, right?

I'd also agree that ecm isn't as op as some people say. Its really strong but not crazy strong.

In any case, we should get back to the Hammerhands. If I were to be greedy I'd say we should get 4 cbill variants. 2 HH and 2 Warhammer (one having ecm). That'd be my ideal for the HH.

Ive suggested this before and theres even an in canon reason for it to still be used if the Warhammer will never be used, as the Warhammer is WHY the Hammerhands was retired. If theres no Warhammer, theres no reason to retire it.

PGI could probably make 2 heros. One for the Hammerhands and the other for the Warhammer. =D

Little over the top but I have standards! :P

Hey PGI... I'm going all in! You can have both... I'm married, I rarely get to use them anyways.

IT'S HAMMER TIME! :D

Succesion era hammerhands : 2 LL (Ra, La), 2 ac2 (Rt, Lt), 4 sl(2 Lt, 2Rt), 1 lrm5(rt). 13 shs, 10 tons armor. Why not, just to get the right slots anyway... could put the ballistics higher up to give non-standard books some viability, won't really effect the mg either way.

Someone with Twitter should tweet Russ about the Hammerhands.

Better put those back in the jar on the mantel before your significant other finds out DaZur!
