Guess I was looking for this thread. I've decided to build up an ECM raven with the capability to support while still being able to cause some damage. I'm a fan of NARC and found great success with it and team LRMs (cause teamwork is OP).
Not alot of people are LRM fans but don't listen to them, they are effective at striking long distances. They have their uses.
That being said I'm trying to build a Raven that will be responsible for support and electronic warfare. Damage is a second priority. This is meant for team engagements and CW.
Raven ERLL

Raven EW (narc, tag, ecm)

I'd like some feed back to improve them. If damage can be boosted without sacraficing support quality then awesome.

there are others who do not run ERLL or missles at all
My Raven 3L runs a XL295, ECM, 1LPL, 2MPL. it is a bit different but deadly too.
so experiment with different loadouts to find your place in the inner sphere with the Raven, then stick with it till you are a rockin'

With regards to the second config...
BAP is redundant with ECM mounted; you'll get no effect from it with your ECM in disrupt mode. The additional detection range is so rarely useful that it does not justify the tonnage cost of the BAP... instead, use sensor enhancement modules and you can put the tonnage to more effective use. A single SSRM2 does not deal consistent, reliable killing damage (you really need three or more to make them dangerous), so I removed it as well. With the 4 tons saved, I maxed out your engine and upgraded the medium lasers to medium pulses. The end result is still heavily focused on support over damage- but because you have more NARC ammo, you can spend more time in a peek-and-poke mode before you have to fall back on the TAG. The pulse lasers require less face-time to poke at enemies with, and you've actually gained DPS despite losing two points of overall damage because they're pinpoint as opposed to the SSRM2's randomized targeting.
This.
Alternatively, you could drop the same two components- BAP and the SSRM2- and instead of upgrading your lasers, mount an AMS- which gives you a secondary missile defense you can employ if and when your ECM is countered.
