Wouldn't this kill the Raven? Iv'e seen a few times where larger mechs have hopped onto smaller mech's heads by accident and tk'd them. I've even done this myself in a TBR where I jumped up in the middle of a fight to roll damage, only to have a friendly light run under me and I've crushed it and it's come up as a TK.

They had flying Dire Wolfs in MW3. You just ran up an incline at 53 kph for 5 seconds and off you went.

Now I wish I could have seen that video.

Well if you dont know how to use the googles...

If its just the bit at 2min then it all looks pretty innocent and just the game glitching which stuck them there in the tight group chaos, they arent in the same unit or anything.
Even though it is stacked it doesnt seem to be gaining any advantage from it.

The video is one guys perspective. Since the game is working with both clients, anyone on top of someone else tends to teleport, with the server never really sure where that person is. It'd also move at the raven's speed ....

I've had it happen a few times on accident, and most of the time I'm wondering "WTF IS GOING ON WITH ME" but it was usually someone falling on top of me or me falling on top of someone - this one looks pretty planned.

And no, it doesn't crush the raven in the game.

DJ, just use support@mwomercs.com for everything. :) They haven't gotten back to me if they deliver takeout yet though...

I would only count it as cheating if it happens with that person on numerous occasions. Sometimes people just like having some fun by testing out a silly theory, and occasionally that silly theory actually works. This is that occasional working theory. Now if they continue to use it, that is where it becomes cheating.

(or if you saw a group putting DWF's lights in CW, that would definitely be cheating, this? Likely just some goofball doing something dumb and having it work out for once.)

WIthout the video or screenshot, I am pretty sure I was in that game last night. Was it River City? I think the DWF was up on the citadel, and tried to walk off and a friendly raven just happened to be there. I remember chuckling a bit at that. Almost impossible to effectively aim when you are teleporting all over the place like that, though.

I'm not sure when but PGI recently broke up the support emails into several specific inquiries. I think the most appropriate one now is moderation@mwomercs.com

I'll admit that I tried to land (for laughs) on top of a Urbie that was already on top of a KC a weekish ago. I missed and landed in front of the KC's dual AC20's... The end.

We (TTK) once accidentally stacked a Battlemaster on top of a Grasshopper on top of an Atlas in a CW match. Drop lead moved a couple guys to a different lance to change drop zones and, in the process, they all dropped on top of each other from the same drop bay.

Didn't work out too well for the Battlemaster though. He couldn't get down because the game kept glitching and he got sniped hard because he couldn't get behind cover, heh.

Such an hilarious post, more than anything else because you do not try to catch the humor beneath.
When the mech moves, his rider can't shoot because there is constant lag, therefore this does not involve any advantage indeed but to be honest brings disadvantages most of the times.
You have to stand still to shoot, and you need to consider rocks, corners, and several other things.
Whining, indeed help to send pm to correct it the invisible walls and other known issues, I play for a long time, I have always supported the game but when I read these things makes me think that the game is ruined by the comunity and not by programmers !
With this I invite you to Watch this video and make you laugh;) Cheers!

Just Google "Direwhale Stacking" and you'll find the video. I think it's actually pretty cool.

Clan supremacy enslaving the suboptimal InnerSphere mechs!

Edit:

And for the record, going aroud with that thing is all but easy... It would have been a 0 to 12 if we actually put some effort in that match instead of laughing to death :)
