Not seeing any threads about the warhawk C. Bought it 4 days ago to finish my WHK collection (and since it was on discount)

WHK-C

I've got this running. At first i had an ER PPC in the centre slot but after realising that its better to have 2 types of armament i installed a third LPL wich greatly increased combat effectiveness.

I think you might get ghost heat for those large pulse lasers. If not, enjoy your lazerbarf hawk.

I'm running dual Guass and one ER-Large. I don't like it but it's effective.

I originally went with a 3 medium, 2 large pulse, 3 SRM-6+A build but it ran way too hot.

It's basically a laser vomit Timberwolf with 3 srm6 arty and a bigger TC. The extra armor and structure has really added to it's survivability. Peek and smash don't stay in the open and practice your ambush.

I have a second WHK-C setup like this:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...749870ff22a4ad5

Its like the Timberwolf laser vomit but better--with modules the range is basically 700m on the CLPLAS and 400m on the CMPLAS.

You have way too much back armor on that mech. I would take all but 10-12 points and put it on the front. You're going to operate as a direct fire dueler, preferably at range. If your team has its act together at all, you shouldn't need that much back armor compared to the front hits you'll take.

I'm running a Gauss, 2 LPL, and an ERLL in the center torso. I'm planning on switching out the ERLL for a Streak-6 to keep those pesky lights in check!
