Russ on Twitter: Posted Image Russ Bullock @russ_bullock · 30m 30 minutes ago Regarding the Ebon Jaguar work in progress - what you saw was just the T-pose, today I saw frames of the animation - much more squat Russ Bullock @russ_bullock · 33m 33 minutes ago All will be well with the Cauldron Born

As Russ pointed out, that is indeed the Tpose that modellers create from the concept othographic views. A lot of a Mech's attitude comes from watching it move, and the walk cycle reflects the demeanor depicted on the legacy pics a lot better.

There's only so much we can show in advance of a WIP mech before release, so a lot of the speculation on this thread originated on the basis of a limited amount of information.
Nevertheless, all is valid and interesting feedback from the users, and some tweaks will be made to the run cycles as well etc. to try and maintain that low profile (as far as the leg geometry can support that with minimal intersection, etc.)

Enrique.

Thanks for posting! I think we're all clear on everything now, and glad to hear that you guys are listening, even if our speculation has been dubious and based on incomplete information. We really do appreciate getting to see the WIP model as it comes to life and be able comment on it and make sure it's what the players want. I think based on the feedback from both sides in this thread you guys will come to a nice compromise with the thing and I'm excited now to see the result. =]
