It's basically right now, the IS doesn't have a heavy or medium to compete with the Timberwolf and Scrow except in one or two very specific edge cases.

I wonder if the Black Knight will be that mech..

I hope so. Although the Grasshopper is pretty solid too.

Only if they make it as sexy as David White's artwork.

Without elo prediction data from the CW matches, you could be more horrifically wrong than you might ever imagine.

If elo prediction was again about ~64% prediction, and they won 53%, what does that say?

Please enlighten me with your all knowing wisdom as to what that would mean if elo predicted 64% and they won 53%

I predicted a 100% chance of Gyrok crying about the Timberwolf in this thread. There was a 100% confirmation rate of Gyrok crying about the Timberwolf in this thread.

Fear me. I am the new CW ELO God.

Am I wrong in thinking that based off that model, the energy hardpoints are about as low as the Grasshoppers (well, the first hardpoint on the Grasshoppers)?

Other images suggest they are higher mounted...

I'm more interested in the overall mojo-personality than the literal mounting heights. I want my mechpron.

not massively though. The BK for MWO is just a cooler looking, non jumping Grasshopper....most people just cant admit that for some reason

Well, it has more hardpoints and could potentially have better quirks because no jump jets.

I've kinda acknowledged that from the start when those votes/debates were happening. No rose colored glasses necessary. :P

About 70% of the Timber Wolves I've seen in the last day have had the A LT omnipod, just for the record.

They run you out of reddit with downvotes again because they do not even listen to you there? Why do you always come here where you cannot get downvoted when they run you out of threads over there...?

That's twice you mentioned downvoting me, like it's some mystery who is behind some of those downvotes.

Your entire thread and premise is being completely rekt by multiple posters from various units that play both clan and IS and who play this game at a high level.

That's a good signal to bow out.

doesn't seem like Russ is sticking to the no flights, no tights rule anymore on Quirks. Was also supposed to be 1 quirk per tier over tier 1. They've stuck to that, haven't they?

Plus, if we are pinning our hopes on potential quirks of a chassis, and not the chassis itself? Just goes to my Topic on them really needing to rework the whole system, as quirks are way the heck outta line.

and because Reddit is so famous for the quality of posters, deep thought, conductive debates..... oh wait..no it's actually just a troll haven. My bad.

I might have my issues with you, but Gyroks reasoning on that, especially since it just takes one unit on a vendetta to downvote you off.... lol.

You know, I thought of this the second after I posted here. It is kind of sad..

I was honestly just hoping for a different flavor of quirks though. Instead of cooldown heavy, maybe more range heavy?

Quirks man....dangerous stuff. It's the new street drug of MWO jocks. First taste is free... but after.........

Just nuts when people EXPECT massive quirks from the get go, and are more concerned with bloody quirks than hitboxes, hardpoint location, etc. Like a bunch of MetaJunkies.

It's not as useful as the others. Same height as the Gauss, higher than the lowest arm lasers.

There's the maximum of 16 weapons equipped, so it can't make use of all of them.

True, you can't load them all out with anything but small lasers or small pulse laser and have anything resembling heat efficiency. But you don't have to. Heck, that's the number one problem with clan heat efficiency, the tendency of players to want to take max weapons. Its true that they may not be is the best spots. But, a long range build with some gauss will at least be able to free up some heatsink space(at least 1) and stay more survivable. Instead of losing 1 two or three CERLPLs to a torso missing, with this one, you will still have a considerable amount of firepower, even if, for some horrible reason, they are your last weapons.
