How much time it takes for your weapons to converge from infinite distance to close distance (several meters, let's say) with and without skill? There is no ingame info about it.

I'm pretty sure it's instant and that skill doesn't do ****.

Are you sure? Cuz I had a theory, that those misses on stationary or running straight towards you Lights from 1 meter distance are somehow connected with convergence - it really looks like shots are going strait through enemy 'Mech, like he is running between your shots. I have even made an experiment. I've chosen one Light 'Mech on a testing grounds and tried to hit it via weapons in arms, while rotating my torso. And 25-30% of shots were missing, in spite of visual effect clearly showing the hit.

it did have a timer long long ago. It got dropped in the name of netcode improvements.
Lostech
Edit: Given all the borked hitboxes hanging over terrain it does make it do weird things from time to time

There should be convergence in this game. For myself this is an arcade like mechwarrior compared too others but I understand why its too draw more people into the universe.
